Rochester auditioners! Who's gonna be there?

I'll be there!!!! Alan Loiselle, I'll prob have on a goofy shirt or a puppetry shirt look 4 me!!!

I'm going in my gym clothes...they look semi fashionable so I can be like hey I can dance! when in reality ya'll are all gonna be laughing at me and my off beat rythym! lol

hey, at least we will have one thing in common!! I usually can follow steps, but improv-ing and fast-paced dance isn't my thing (I know, then why am I even going, right!?) I figure I'll try it out, see how I do, get some audition experience. Hopefully I will meet some of you there!!!! YAY, I'M SO EXCITED and mildly scared hahahaha.

Don't worry! Last time I had dance was when I was like 7. And that was just a bunch of twirling and tapping and weird kick things. I think I'll be ok...I'm gonna try my very hardest for this!

i know you guys are going to do an awesome job. just remember to have FUN! :tink: (spreading some pixie magic over all of you!!):tink:
:sad2: wish i was going.

OK, so hopefully you all will get this in the morning....but good luck! I'm so excited I should be sleeping but whatever...Hope to see you all there. I'll prolly be in black capris and a tank and a grey or black zip up with something dance related on it. Can't wait to meet everyone!

It wasn't too bad, maybe about 2 hours, 80 people, only 2 for FT, most for CT. I'm not sure what dance we did or if it was just a basic made-up one. We just did the usual, signed in and filled out audition sheets, had our height and picture taken, then heard about the program and what was to come, learned to animate and then practiced our animation a little bit (part 1: meeting your favorite character and part 2: hungry and eating at the park) then the movement which went from intermediate to more advanced moves. We did it a few times as a group, and it went: strike your beginning pose (animation had to have a beginning, middle, end, or at least be recognizable in terms of where it is going, big moves and simple for the kids, always smile, etc.) then animate (10 seconds for each part, although we started with 30 and she cut it down so we only had the bare essential moves), then right into the dance, then movement again (the same movement as before), then right into the dance a second time. Pretty straightforward like has been said before on this forum. No puppetry or "face" make-up and costume audition as far as I know, although I believe there was an advanced dance audition. I was #37, didn't make it past the first dance, but I smiled and was nice and interactive and I got some audition experience. Sorry if this is long, figured I'd add all I know. Have a Magical Day!!

Great description! I was #12 and probably the worst dancer ever. Apparently I'm dyslexic and I cant tell my left and right because when arms went left I went right like EVERYTIME - WORST DANCER EVER

but I kept smiling so and laughing so I should be good! I hope!:scared:

It was a blast! although...I didnt get to meet anyone today...was feeling a little shy :P I got there toward the end of sign in #86 out of 87.. .so i didnt have much time to chat and I had to scoot right to work when we finished. But newho...I got asked to stay! I got to do the dance a second time (there were seven of us). I'm trying not to get my hopes up but I'm hoping its a good sign. They also had 6 people stay to get there pictures done when we were dancing which I'm assuming was for face. This is gonna be the longest couple weeks EVER!
