Robin's chapel service was beautiful.

Thanks so much for telling us about the service. I was heartsick at the thought that Caitlyn wouldn't be able to say good-bye to her Mommy. I pray that her father decides to do what's best for Caitlyn and lets her live with Robin's family.

Thank you both for letting us know how the service was.

Thanks for sharing your memories of the day....the angel pin was perfect....

Thank you both for sharing your thoughts on the service with us. I am so glad that Caitlyn was able to attend. She seems to be so wise for such a little girl. Robin did a fine job in her five short years with Caitlyn. I, too, think Caitlyn will be fine after all. She has a lot of folks who love and care for her on this earth and in heaven.

Thank you both for being there and sharing what was a lovely tribute to a very special lady. :(

I'm so glad Caitlyn was able to go and God bless you, Janette, for being the wonderful friend that you were, to Robin.

Tears.....and many prayers.....

Same here.

Thanks Janette and Rhonda for attending and posting!

Thank you both for attending and keeping us up to date.

Caitlyn and her family will remain in my thoughts and prayers. Robin seemed to have touched so many lives.

I'm in tears. Thanks for sharing with us. Wish I could have been there.

I am relieved to hear that Caitlin was able to attend, and you both are so kind to allow us all to share this sad time with you. The pin was very thoughtful and comforting, I will keep little Caitlin in my prayers and her family.

I am so glad Caitlyn was able to be there, when I read that the tears started again, thank you for sharing.

Rhonda, first let me say how nice it is to see you. I've missed you so. :( I'm so glad that you and Janette were there to support one another and represent the DIS.

It sounds as though Robin's funeral was as uplifting as it could have been given the tragic circumstances. I've thought of little else other than Caitlyn over the past few days, and I pray that God will keep her safe.

Wanted to add a couple of things.

The quartet that sang were part of the Vocal Majority a group know for it's a cappella music. They were wonderful. One of them was a friend of Robin's and volunteered to sing with a few of his friends. They sang one song about a lullaby and one of them especially seemed to be singing right to Caitlyn. They were wonderful. This is a website with more about the chorus: Vocal Majority

An observation from my 9yo DD Samantha last night when she was talking about Robin and Caitlyn. She said that when one of them smiled or laughed the other one did, they smiled at each other all the time. I thought back to our visit to Rainforest Cafe last month and realized how right she was. What a wonderful thing to have that kind of relationship that is so obvious to all around you.

Thanks so much for sharing this, I haven't been on the boards long, but read a few of Robin's posts and she always made me smile. I didn't know the background of this family until after her death, when it was posted about Caitlyn's father. I hope that he decides to let her stay with Robin's family, and that they continue that special relationship. Prayers to all, especially little Caitlyn.

As I sit here at the happiest place on earth, I have tears in my eyes after reading this thread. Thank you both for sharing Robin's memorial service with us. I have faith that Caitlyn will be OK. I will say another prayer for her and for those who will be tasked with nurturing her as she grows.

Thank you Rhonda & Janette for sharing her service with us.
