Just got back from WDW, had a blast (as usual); disappointed that I didn't see any Robin Hood characters except for Friar Tuck & PJ; even more disappointed when I discovered that very few Robin Hood items exist in WDW stores.

Does anyone know where I can find RH artwork, pencil sketches, cells, etc.? Also, I love the idea of the "how to draw" and "learn to draw" Disney series. Does one exist for Robin Hood?

I did a quick search on the usual auction sites and came up empty.

Thanks!

First of all, welcome to the DIS!

Robin Hood is my favorite Disney film, so I am always looking for stuff myself. In 2003 the WDCC (that's Walt Disney Classic Collection) came out with 6 figures from this movie: Robin, the Sherif, Little John (in his costume from the Archery contest), Prince JOhn & Sir Hiss (sold as a set) and Maid Marion (member exclusive). Plus the title piece. The collection will put you back a few hundred dollars, but....

I have a character sketch from the ARt of Disney of Prince John (my fav villian). I think they run $35. The same artists that do the sketches do the sketch watches too. They are a bit pricey, but one of a kind (of sorts).

As far as characters, I was over at MK on Memorial day and saw Robin & Prince John. I have had my picture taken with PJ 2x, with the better photo on display next to my WDCC pieces.

The beannies (MBBP) that i have were bought several years ago at the Disney Store. You might find them on Ebay - Robin, Marion, Little JOhn, Prince John, & Lady Kluck. I also have a larger PJ plush that I bought there, along with Sir Hiss.

Good luck finding your goodies! :earsboy:

That's funny. My wife and I were in MK the day before Memorial Day! (saw a lot of Chip and Dale!)

Thanks for the info. I'll keep my eye on e-bay for some items. I saw a pencil sketch of RH & MM at Art of Disney when I was down there, but decided not to get it...argghh!

Thanks again!

If you want the phone number for that shop, PM me. I used to order stuff from there before I moved down. Ok, my friend is the mgr, but they do a lot of ships for people.

Do they sell any Robin Hood stuff at the stores in Disney world, like plush toys, or is Robin Hood stuff impossible to find even at Disney World?

I think it all depends on when you are there. We saw many of the Robin Hood characters when we went to WDW this past September. Prince John was walking around and was hilarious (that was at MGM) and we were able to meet and greet with Robin and Friar Tuck at the same time.
