This will be our first Disney cruise (Feb 27/wonder) and I am just curious to know whether robes are provided. We've sailed princess in the past and their robes are quite nice!

From what I've found online I'm not seeing robes, all of the other normal things are included, though, right? (shampoo, conditioner, soaps, etc)

I'm READY TO GO! (but still searching high and low for any words of wisdom!)

Sorry to say that no, I have never seen any robes. Mind you I have not sailed in a concierge class, so maybe they offer them there.....

Have a great cruise! :flower:

emtowe - we are on your cruise! I'm sure you are getting just as excited as we are!

Robes are available to those in cat 1-3.

I have a question for you though - what are you anticipating the weather to be like when we go? I am not sure whether to bring a couple pairs of pants or just one and have shorts the rest of the time.

They do provide soap and shampoo that is a combo shampoo/conditioner......many people don't care for it though so if you like real conditioner then bring your own. Theirs left my hair like straw. They do have some good shampoo and conditioner in the showers in the spa though.

More "DIS'ers" cruising. We are also on your cruise! There are a few of us. You haven't posted to our cruise meets thread. I have a 7 year DS. Geez, everyone has girls, I hope there will be a few boys his age. My Girl will be 17 at sailing (that makes me feel old). We're all very excited, It will be a blast! :jumping1:

I'm still finding my way around the boards, we didn't decide on this trip until new year's eve. I've spent the month searching the web for tips and hints and things to do etc.

My 7yo (is dictating now...) kid thinks that the activities will be fun. :cool1: (This is contrary to EVERYTHING she's said up until this moment!)

She says that she thinks we'll enjoy the cruise ship and the rooms.

Mom's back...

Thanks for the info on the shampoo's. I was just out shopping today and picked up a few small bottles of conditioner!

Well, my experience is the coldest February Florida has seen...This made leaving the midwest in February on okay thing since we had the winter coats and gloves...

We had our last caribbean cruise in December and it was very nice. The water was comfortable but I really don't remember if I wore shorts or light pants. Probably because of it being Princess I had pants rather than shorts.

For this trip we'll probably have shorts available and then depending how it turns out get to wear them. :)

From what I've read so far the water is generally pretty cold this time of year, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good temperatures.

We cruised last February (President's week) and were surpried how cool it was. Our previous cruises were April and summer months so we had visions of very warm weather the whole time. However... last February was cool every day and quite windy. We could certainly enjoy the pools and Castaway Cay during the day (maybe that's because we are from freezing Massachusetts, though!). I'd recommend a couple sweaters/sweatshirts and defiantly pants. Hopefully you won't need them!

Is anyone just returning aand can tell up about weather, and water temps???

Really having trouble packing here!

Are you on the Wonder, too, deedz?

I can tell you that last week (Friday to be exact) the water at CC was pretty cold. There were a lot of people out there braving it, but when my DS9 and DH came in from 45 minutes of snorkeling, the 9 year olds lips were blue and he shivered for over a half-hour.

The water in both St. Maarten and St. Thomas was like bathwater, though! :goodvibes

PS- Although the water was more than a little cold at CC the air temp was great and we laid out in the sun and played in the sand all morning. By afternoon, there were some storms kicking up and it was a wind tunnel at Cookies BBQ! The captain did some good manuevering, but it was still a little rough that night!
