Trying to decide whether to order the luxury at sea package that includes two robes for me and DH or wait until we're onboard and buy robes from the store on the Dream. I read on an old post on here that the robes at the ship store are nicer--anybody have experience to share?

We did the room package. I will say both robes are very nice. The room package we got at the time- a few years back, was a plush robe. They are very comfortable and soft. I was pleased with the quality. The robes in the store have a smooth finish. They are lovely as well. For the price point, we were very happy with the package.

We did the package on the Fantasy last year and LOVED it. We really felt that it was a great deal for the price. The bottle of champagne was a nice touch when boarding!

The robes were thick, plushy and very comfortable with a beautiful stitched logo. Not sure about the ones in the store but we had zero regrets/complaints!

Do you remember the price of the one at the store, more or less? If they're both very nice, it would be helpful to compare!

The one in the store is upwards of $100- I think around $120. As stated previously, store are silky outside, terry inside. The package one fluffy. And also true- leave yourself plenty of room to get them home, no mater which you chose.

The robe in the store is thinner, with a smooth exterior / terry interior. They look really nice, but they cost more than the romance package for two! I can't remember the exact price but maybe $140?

The romance package cost us $130 for two robes, a bottle of prosecco, a box of chocolates, and a rose, so we opted for that instead. The robes are huge and so soft, we use them all the time!

I am still tempted by the one in the store as a "summer robe" though - maybe on the next cruise

Tough! My cruise is in May, so a "summer robe" makes some sense to bring home after! But that's a big price difference. Hmmm. I might have to get one kind this cruise and another on the next 😆
