Roadworks on the 192

Hello,
Has anyone come back recently who can tell me what the traffic is like on the 192 and if the roadworks are still causing delays? I have searched these boards but the most recent thread was about a month ago when the roadworks were situated around Medieval Times and Wal Mart – just where we will be joining the 192. (We are staying at Lake Berkley). If they are still causing problems does anyone know of an alternative route to the parks?

Hi Ali

I read on the Dibb that the roadworks are still bad on the 192 and that the traffic was at a standstill recently at many times through the day. I know that it was still bad in Nov by the Medieval Times and Walmart junction, but these roadworks have been ongoing for years, i don't think they will EVER be finished! you could try searching on the Dibb, http://www.thedibb.co.uk

I have just come back after 14 nights staying on the 192.
We had no problems or hold ups at all.
The roadworks are on going but not causing any trouble what so ever.

We got back last week and used the 192 most days for visiting Walmart, SuperTarget or eating out and had no problems with the roadworks.

Just got back Tuesday, used 192 to go to Walmart, Flea Market, Congo River Golf and lots of others. No holdups at all, still two lanes of traffic in each direction and they were moving quite freely. Don't worry about it, there is NO problem!

Thanks guys for your comments. I am relieved to hear the roadworks are not a major problem - I just want everything on our holiday to be perfect!!!

heya, the roadworks are no way near as bad as last year. We got back on Sunday and they had started to tarmac some of the surfaces while we were there.
