Road Rage Incident

It’s just scary to think how many crazy people are out there. We had an incident over the weekend where we were stopped at a red light, the light turned green and the car in front of us didn’t move. We waited several seconds and then my husband tapped the horn really lightly. So the guy went, but at the next light we came to he didn’t go when it turned green again. So we just sat there until he decided to go since were pretty sure that he was doing it on purpose to antagonize us. Really? You feel the need to retaliate because someone tapped their horn to let you know the light was green? If someone does that to me I feel bad that I wasn't paying attention and appreciate them letting me know that the light has changed. But to this guy apparently it was a personal affront. It reminded us of how easy it is for road rage incidents to get started over nothing.

No, not her phone number - her jersey number. It also has her first name and team name.


Is this just a regional thing in Baltimore/DC/Philly area? I never thought that much about it until that road rage incident happened. It seems that everyone who has a child on a club/travel team has a sticker with that info. Although, now that I think about it, it is becoming more common to have just the team name and your child's jersey number on the sticker. Still, easy enough to look up that info on the internet. Right now I just have a decal of a player and my daughters' numbers - no team name at all.

LOL I really meant her jersey number, I have no idea why I said phone number....LOL as DD13 would say, "epic fail" LOL
