Omg they're not going to crawl into your luggage and come home with you. They aren't bed bugs. I've been to Disney 10 times and never seen one.

I'm not trying to sound like that, no need to make me seem like I'm crazy... I had someone I know have eggs hatch in her bag after she returned home.. I just wanted to get other people's experiences...

Well, they can crawl into your bags - per my sister's experience. However, I don't think it's that common. On our trip last September we didn't see one anywhere. We stayed at Pop Century, POFQ, and then the AKL. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I hate to break it to everyone but every single person on this planet save for scientists who live in antartica have insects of some kind in their house. They were here way before us and they'll be here way after we are gone .

Palmetto bugs, the big ones, are different from the garden variety roaches. They don't travel in such large groups, and are not an indicator of cleanliness. But I had the regular ones once, in my fridge at CBR. I called down and the first thing they asked was if I was in a ground floor room (which I was). So maybe request a higher floor?

I've only had one once and that was when we left the balcony door open when watching Illuminations at BWV. We chased it around and killed it with a shoe!

Are you serious??? All little to much drama here... Where do you get your info...the All Stars are wonderful resorts.... FYI...there have been reports of bedbugs at the Poly...Beach Club as well as others so go ahead and go "better" ...bugs don't care...they will gladly sleep in luxury anywhere.......I bet roaches love it there too....

Use to live in VA(?) not sure the relevance. I use to live in NY and live in VA now. Cockroaches can live in both places.

In va I saw roaches, and other nasty bugs.. I know my home may have some insects, but I know none are what you posted.

Before you leave, check your empty suitcases. Shake out your clothes as you pack, they like folds and dark places. When you get home unpack right away and shake again as you do. Wash as soon as you can.

There is a big difference between a palmetto bug (giant roach) and the German cockroach that infests dirty houses.

Palmettos are not coming home with you but just in case you may want to build an eighth bedroom in that mansion

Roaches are a fact of life here in Florida. I'll spare you the detailed story of the time I found one crawling up my pants leg in the ticket booth at work.

Bedbugs are a fact of life in hotels of all levels of price and quality throughout the country, unfortunately.
