We;ve stayed at the POFQ and loved it,but because Riverside is the only one that will sleep 5,can anyone help me with the rooms that sleep 5.Any help would be great. We are 4 adults and 1 child (age 6) and I was wondering if we could still get a roll away bed (and if there would be enough space to put it) if we got one of the rooms with the trundle because we might need to use the trundle bed for the child, but may need to have the roll away for one of the adults, can this be done? Also tell me about the pool (for the child) and also the restaurants, food court, etc. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like a tight fit but I think it can be done.
At POR the section that 5 are placed in is the Alligator Bayou Section
(it has the trundle bed).
The Rollaway beds can be rented but they are around $16.00 per night.
I wonder if you could pack a twin sized airmatteress with you (it would be
cheaper).
We were able to eat at the TS Restaurant "Boatwrights" for breakfast
and it was very good.
We also ate at the CS at least everyother night and really liked
all of the choices they offered: my fave was the "Create your own Pasta"
Pick your shape of Pasta, the sauce, there are meat/seafood choices,
Veggies, cheese and they cook it up freash right in front of you.
The Pool was a fun Theme like an Old Swimming Hole. I think the depth starts at 3 feet.
There is a fun slide. I think you will really enjoy POR.
Have a Fun Trip!

Personally, I can't imagine four adults and one 6 yr old in a Riverside room. And I don't think you will have room for a rollaway AND the trundle bed. How about a deluxe resort, like the Contemporary (older resort, renovated and larger rooms) because you will have two queen sized beds and a day bed. And you can walk to the MK from the Contemporary.

I agree. If you try to squeeze a rollaway (if that is even allowed) between the two beds you will all basically be on top of each other. I can only imagine how uncomfortable it would be. I agree that bumping up to a deluxe or even getting 2 rooms are better options.

If you wanted to do a deluxe, I would suggest BC, which also has two queen beds and a daybed. The daybed is plenty big enough for an adult to sleep and the rooms are really comfortable with lots of activites and food choices near by and also walking distance/ boat ride to Epcot and DHS. This is not to say I don't love POR because it is my favorite of the moderates, but just to give you another option.

I have to agree with the previous people. A rollaway would make for very cramped quarters. We had 5 there but used the trundle bed for the 7 year old, who loved it.
The food court is fine, nothing really to rave about.
The pool is big & nice, but I liked the pool at the French Quarter.

Thanks for the info. We've stayed at the Contemporary many, many times (also all the other monorail resorts) and love them all,but the dates we are looking at only have the higher priced rooms even with AAA.When we stayed at the POFQ we had 2 rooms because we had more people then this trip and loved having 2 bathrooms to use.I will check the other resorts that have the daybed,we had some adults who like sleeping on it better than sharing a bed.Anyway, thanks for all the help.
