Not unless you put a chair near the end and add some cushion to extend the area. My 5'5" daughter barely fit so this is how we extended the sleep area.
My daughter is 5'7" and can only sleep on these pulldown beds curled up on her side, which she totally prefers anyway so its fine. She'd also probably sleep in the tub to avoid sharing a bed with someone though!
It is possible but far from ideal. On a recent trip my 2 year old became sick and had to sleep with mommy... That relegated my 6'3 husband to the pull down Murphy bed! He claimed it was more comfortable than sleeping next to my thrashing son but I guess that doesn't say much lol.
It's shorter and narrower than a twin size bed. It measures 63" x 30" (check out https://www.portorleans.org/faqs.php) and the mattress 5 inches thick. My DD was 4'6 and slept on it fine, but someone 5'9 would likely be cramped.
