Riverside Hotels

We will be at DL for the 1/2 marathon in September. On the Monday we are checking out of the DLH and heading to Corona (Aircraft Spruce - heaven for pilots apparently), and Riverside to visit the Mission Inn Museum.

Tuesday morning we will be heading to Van Nuys airport for a while and then flying out of LAX at 5.00pm.

Any recommendations for hotels in Riverside or Van Nuys?

Is the Mission Inn Museum at the Mission Inn ? My parents stayed there last year and loved it.

Stayed at the Marriott in Riverside in June and would recommend it. Nice hotel.

I second the recommendation of "The Mission Inn" in Riverside. We enjoyed our stay there, too!

I checked out the website for the Mission Inn - yep it's actually attached to the Mission Museum. It looks gorgeous. A double is $175.00 with AAA so might be a little out of our budget. I will have to crunch some numbers.

The Marriott looks nice and it's $142.00 with AAA so getting better, although they add another $6.00 for parking - $148.00. For another $30.00 I might be able to convince DH that we should splurge!
