So today was my FP day for Sept - I am offsite. I went to book FP for AK evening. I got Navi but RoL ones were all gone. How bad is the standby line and when should I get in line for it?

And please, no comments about it not being worth it. I will see it. I was one who was affected in 2016 when it was supposed to open and I want to see it and form my own opinion.

I will keep checking periodically to see if someone drops one but am super bummed as I though they would be available.

Even if you can't get a FP by checking multiple times before your DAK day
(I'd expect that you will be able to, if you are diligent,)
you will likely be able to book a same-day FP for it when you are there.
(Many guests drop some FPs for others in the park.)

Regardless, FP or no, I'd arrive at the theater about 45 min. before show time on your date.

An hour later I was able to get it! Unfortunately there was an Avatar FP at 5:30 I couldn't grab as I have an ADR at Boma at that time. But that gives me hope I may catch one on my regular AK day.
