Disney announced a couple weeks ago that they would be going to 2 shows a night instead of 1 due to popularity. It's always been 8:45 for ours during the first week of April, but now they have a 10 PM too.
Well, I still don't know when your reservation is, but we are starting to get to the point where it won't be dark at 7:15 p.m. Where I live (it's 7 p.m. right now), it's not dark at the moment. Now, did they extend park hours on your day? That could also be a reason. Keep in mind that Disney has the right to change times at any point for shows and parks without notice. I would look at your situation positively. Now you don't have to rush through dinner to try and get a good seat, and you can enjoy more of what AK has to offer at night.sorry, been busy, yes, they added a second show, but they also changed the time of the first. in part i think this was due to daylight savings time, but they moved it up one and a half hours, from 7:15, which was on my original printout, to 8:45.
I made a some Dp's during the week before and after Pandora opening, they all say 1st show or 1st viewing.
When Pandora opens up for FP's I may want to change some of my plans and not need the Dp's but still want to eat at Tiffin's 2 or 3 times ..can I just pay the regular price if I don't need to do the show?
I have already made some FP's for ROL since my window opened yesterday.
Nothing right now. Disney isn't the fastest when it comes to releasing stuff like that unfortunately.Has any info been released on when dining packages will open for July and beyond?
I used the dining package. I ate at Tusker House this time. Personally, I always feel like dining packages are the way to go, but that is just me. I flew in today, so I was taking my day easy. I showed up at the dining package viewing about 50 minutes until show time, and I had any seat that I basically wanted in the DP seating area. The DP area started filling up about 35 minutes before. Stand-by looked full at 50 minutes until showtime, and Fastpass looked half full at that point as well. I have a fastpass for it on Tuesday, so I can update you more on that then. If you want good seats for any show, I always recommend an hour in advance even with a dining package.
Dining package is my go to for this show. The more center you are, the better the show is in my mind.Which were better seats? FP+ or Dining package?
I got one 8p dinner i don't remember for what date. Am I the only one that feels there is something not right with their system right now? It's being a pain.Has anyone been able to get a dinner for the first 3 weeks in August? I got a breakfast to show up but no dinners for Tuskers House.
