What do you think the chances are of getting a same day fastpass for Rivers of Light? We'll be going May 21 -27. We would like to hop over one night for this, but if we get a fastpass at 60 days it will tie up fastpasses for the whole day. Has anyone been able to get one the day of?

I haven't so I would think its pretty slim...I looked today and nothing...keep trying :).

Any chance you can plan to eat dinner at Tiffins or Tusker house that night for dinner? That way you can try to get a dining package. Even a breakfast (Tusker) or lunch package for that matter

I tied to get FP for 1 about 15 days before my last trip could not then, I tied for a week I was there to get same day FP never got one. I am getting the FP for my next trip in April I plane to be at EPCOT for F&G in the morning ( maybe RD soaring or and then do a few walk ons then head to WS to eat lunch. head over to AK and I have FP for Dianasours ( at 3) and EE ( 4) and then I plane to find some where to eat dinner.

We were in the standby line last Thursday night and a lady came up and asked how many were in our party. There were five, she handed me five dining package passes. They had small children and I thought they were done in for the day. We did have fast passes for the ten o'clock show. I cancelled them. There just isn't a lot to do after 6, so I was glad to go to the earlier show. Pandora will be open so the park will be a zoo!

I am going the week before you and specifically used my fastpasses for our Animal Kingdom day so we can be assured to see Rol. We never do that because we love to have our passes earlier in the day so we can keep getting more, but we really want to see Rivers of Light. Our plan is to resort hop earlier in the day, do late lunch/early dinner at our resort and then head over to animal Kingdom before the start of our first fastpass. We go so often -- so one day of late fastpasses won't kill us.

Actually, the park IS a zoo :)

We were there March 5 - 11 and the afternoon of the 5th around 3:00 while sitting in Nomad Lounge I got 2 for that same night.

Bringing this old thread back to life to see if there is any chance to the prevailing opinion.

We are planning to be in AK on Friday Jan 25th. Wondering if it is still worth it to book a FPP for Rivers of Light, even though it ties up our third all day, or whether getting one day of is likely?

Just wondering if the popularity has died down at all making same day FPP more likely.

Thanks.

Is there 1 or 2 shows on your day?

We visited in June and picked up RoL for the late show as our 9th FP of the day.

It turns out that we didn’t need it as the ampitheater was only about a third full. It did look full for the early show though.

While the masses were at the early showing of RoL, my kids ride Everest 5 times. I did 2 trips then sat out the rest.

This complete thread is very outdated in regards to RoL. It’s advised to begin a new thread rather than resurrect an outdated thread pertaining to FPs for a show.
