Got my ROL..."Yes, Virginia...there a River of Light!" for dinner in September. I wish it was breakfast, but beggars can't be choosers. I will be happy just to have the dinner and the seating issue settled.

For those hoping for ROL to open up for July or August dates I wouldn't hold my breath. Especially for breakfast at TH. Sad as it is I think they actually released what they are going to release. Most days you can't book a regular table at TH for breakfast these months since people already scooped them up on regular ts. Chances of Disney hoarding tables for ROL to release now for these busy months seem quite slim. Yet never give up hope. Especially at disney. I'll be checking for myself for my trip that I can't find anything for - I never give up hope but I just wouldn't be counting on something opening up is all I'm saying.

I hope this is what is happening. I just got off the phone with Dining and they were unable to find me any time at TH for the 2nd week of August. She made is sound like there were none for all August but apparently some of you were able to make a reservation online. I think I may try again in a little bit and for sure tomorrow.

I wonder if they have a better idea of the parks schedules for after Labor Day but are still trying to gauge the crowds for the late summer.

I do think it is - if you search for a regular table, there are lots of options it seems.....and since they JUST OPENED the ROL, it would stand to reason that if they booked any today, they would have taken the remaining open spots. I cannot find one measly table on ANY of the days I will be there; however, if I slide up into September, there are a few options.

I already have a TH reservation on the date and time I really want, so it won't be the end of the world if I can not get the package, but I really would like to so that I can save those precious FP+ for other things!!

I booked both breakfast and dinner for August. My dinner ADR says "ROL", but my breakfast doesn't. Even though I'm 100% sure I booked it correctly. Could this be a glitch in their system???

That's my exact situation. I made a TH lunch reservation before all of this ROL business, but I'd like to switch it for a ROL package to save my FP+. To add to my fun, my current reservation for TH is for a party of 16. Don't have much hope for switching it to a dining package but I'll keep trying. When I made the current reservation I have, I was so shocked at how easy it was to get lunch for a party of 16. I didn't even call at 180 days, it was more like 160 days. I don't even remember when I called. Good luck with your plans.

Yes.

Just now, I was able to book ROL Dining for 9/7 @ 4:40pm. Only spot available for dinner. On a light negative note - DSS had told me June for release times. They were 2 months off.....wow. My ADR also says "ROL 1st Show".

Thanks! I cancelled my 6p reservation and grabbed a 5:15p package for 9/11. Just hoping free dining releases soon so I can lock down the trip!

I spoke to a CM about an hour ago who seemed very knowledgeable. She and her family are going to WDW themselves in July and want a ROL package. She has been watching the last few days and while they are loaded into the system, she has not been able to book ROL packages for July or early August yet. She said to keep trying. Here is hoping that she is correct!

Would love to get a breakfast package 8/26 or 8/29 at TH, I can get dinner but honestly I really am not that interested in having dinner at TH. I have reservations at Boma and Yak and Yeti for those nights for dinner already. I'm starting to think ROL may just have to wait until the next trip. Maybe the Pandora lines will be shorter if I hit those during the earlier ROL show if there are two shows those nights? Or we can ride EE 5 times in a row in the dark with no line like we did last year (my older DS is obsessed with EE). We went basically the same dates last year 8/25 to 8/31, it was so less stressful, no wondering about MNSSHP starting early, ROL/Pandora, guessing about park hour changes 45 days out. This trip is starting to be too much guess work to plan.

I'm kind of confused that we all seem to be getting "1st show" when they haven't even loaded showtimes yet.

In other news, I just investigated Garden Grocer and am thinking I'll just order some Udi's muffins for my room and some snacks for the parks and leave my ADR as dinner. Get my refillable mug... Ultimately save me some money for the trip. Never did it before (Garden Grocer), but there's a first for everything!!

Still waiting for three possible nights during the week of 8/11-8/19. I see lots of regular openings at TH for all 3 meal services so it clearly isn't true that they are always booked in summer. It makes zero sense not to be optimistic that we will be able to book a ROL package! I think we just have to wait a bit more. Good luck, everyone still waiting. Sticking to this thread like glue.

I just alter the time or refresh the page. It's been doing that off and on all day.

Yep, I agree with your last sentence. I didn't search too much in September, just took the word of others on my various FB groups some of whom have landed breakfast today.

Breakfasts all seem to pretty much be September. MAYBE a few in very late August.
