Rivers of Light Dining Package Lookout Thread - NOW ACCEPTING RESERVATIONS

Waiting for late August... So far Yak & Yeti takes reservation until 8PM... But that stops on August 20th :crazy2:
 
I want to know how which show you get a fast pass for is determined. I am hoping I could for instance get a 8am Tusker but pick the last Rivers Fast pass when nice and dark...
 

We don't really know yet. My only experience with dining packages and shows was Candlelight Processional. The viewing time was based on what time you ate. Cannot remember if there was the ability to change that or not.

As more details become available we'll be sure to post them here.
 
We missed having all of this for our trip in April and have our fingers crossed that something is ready for our trip in October! Definitely appreciate the group effort to post when it goes live!
 
Everyone expects that there will be a Tiffins dinner package for ROL at some point in time, but unfortunately, we don't have a menu to know if we want to eat there to begin with. They've announced the opening date, though haven't released a menu yet, which makes me think that it's possible that they're already reconsidering the their originally proposed menu, after the Skipper Canteen's experimental food offerings fell flat and the menu is in the process of being revamped.

I'm thinking this would be a great start to our vacation. We are Saturday after thanksgiving and ak may be a good start since it will be so busy still I'm thinking..

that is my plan as well.. most of the crowd calendars seem to have saturdays as a low day for AK, I'm guessing it is not most people's first stop. who knows how that may change with RoL but... for now it seems a good plan
 
Oooo...First rumours are out of Dining Packages being available for Jungle Book: Alive with Magic! They are said to be going to be offered at both Flame Tree BBQ (quick service) and Tusker House (table service).

I'll post more as soon as I hear more details. Dates these packages can start being booked are not available yet. Hopefully soon!!

Excellent news. :thumbsup2 We will be leaving May 20th and I will be watching the boards to see if anything gets going before we are there on the 29th of May.
 
We currently have reservations for Tusker House at 6:00 pm on June 10. Any idea on the process of converting an existing reservation to a dinner package? Is that even possible?

We're wondering the same thing. Have 5:55 ADR on May 27th!

You have to cancel what you have and book the other reservation. I would suggest doing this from a computer and not the app because you can chose to cancel the original while booking the new reservation all in one process and it will actually hold your original reservation until you have confirmation of your new reservation. The mobile app is suppose to do the same thing but I've heard people have lost their original and ended up with no reservation because the mobile system didn't hold on to their original like it is suppose to.

Website is sufficient. I honestly trust it more than people on the phone. I've lost everything due to people on the phone and had to rebook it all myself. Plus the phone can have crazy wait times when new reservations come out.
