Riverfest in Boston this weekend

I need some information on the Riverfest in Boston this weekend - something more than the radio station's website gives.

What can you tell me about it?

What should I expect from the traffic?

What else do I need to know?

Michelle--PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION!!!!! <-----this should be your mantra. You DO NOT want to be trying to drive around the city, on a holiday weekend, trying to find your way. The concert is very easily accessible via the T. PM if you want and let me know where you are staying, and I can help you figure out your best route.

Should be a good show, and the weather is supposed to be nice, not too warm, but sunny with no rain. (and of course Pushstars are playing, what more could you want???)

So I have finally found a hotel. They said we could drive to the train station 10 minutes away then catch the train the rest of the way. How much money would I be looking at for the train ride into town?

Depends on where you are. Commuter rail trains run by zones, so depending on the zone the price will vary. Subway trains are also differ depending on the station. Here is the mbta website...
