River view at POFQ

I have a reservation at POFQ. However, they only had river view room. I wasn't thrilled about it, to be frank. I didn't really want to spend he money.
I have 2 girls aged 7 and 9.
Are the river view rooms still close o the bus top or eating?

Can anyone tell me if the corner rooms are better (I heard hat somewhere) or will I have a better. "view" not being in the corner.

river view rooms can be near the registration/eating area...the buildings there are long an many rooms face the water. Corner rooms usually have two windows so more light in, but the only time we got them was when we when need of a handicap room so not sure if that was coincidence or not.
Have a great trip, lovely resort, great pool for little ones...be sure to visit sister resort POR, great pools there too..take the boat over, and a ride to dtd as well...Enjoy

POFQ is a small resort and you're really not far from anything in any room. We had a river view room last year and enjoyed it so much we booked again this year. The view of the river is very relaxing with the Friendship boats going by regularly. You also don't get all the noise from the pool area, it's really very relaxing, especially if you go back for an afternoon rest. Enjoy!

We were in River view the last 2 years. POFQ is so nice and small that no walk is far. The river views are beautiful and great to enjoy at night when the kids are sleeping and you can just pull a chair outside your door and relax in wonderful peace and quiet. The shots below are from 5/3/12.

I absolutely loved the river view when we went a few years ago. So peaceful and quiet..I don't think you'll regret it

Wow those pictures just got me sooooo excited for my trip in September! I was only able to get free dining with a River View at POFQ. I am taking this trip solo and I cannot wait to sit outside my room at night just looking at this. How relaxing!

Bolded mine. That's why I like POFQ. It is a small resort and none of the rooms are too far away from food/registration. Have a great time!
