River of Lights Dining Package - how early to arrive?

Hi all,

We have the River of Lights Dining Package with reservations for Tusker House at 6:45pm and showtime is 9:15pm. How early do we need to arrive at the show? Do we receive a physical ticket that we bring with us?

We have extensive food allergies in our party, so I know our meal will take a little bit longer. Just curious if there is a 'best time to arrive'.

Ideally 30-45 min or more ahead of showtime

We got an actual physical ticket when we did the dining package in March. The waiter brought it to us with our check. Unless you are with a big group that wants to be seated together, I wouldn't get to the show that early. I think closer to 30 (and maybe a little less than that) and not so much 45 minutes. I don't think there are any bad seats - plus waiting outdoors can be not the best in Florida.

You will receive a physical ticket after your meal (at least, I'm assuming that's still how it's done...we haven't done a dining package for a year and a half); 30 minutes is usually a good time to go.

We got a physical ticket for ROL in March. We arrived 1 hour prior to showtime and the dining package section was about 1/4 filled already.

We just did it last week. Yes, you get a physical ticket. We had the early ROL showing and arrived 30 minutes early. The first ROL section was already full, but the second section had tons of seating left.

No. Every seat is a good seat but I'd say the FP area that they fill first has the best "head on" view
