I haven't seen this topic posted in a while, but has anyone heard any rumors about what is happening to the land that used to be River Country? :pug:
 
Nope, nothing new. The "facility exclusively for Ft. Wilderness" rumor died down. Honestly, I never understood that one. If it wasn't supported by the revenue it took in, why would anyone think it would switch to "free"? The number of CM's required is quite large.
 
If you do a search, you will find an old threrad posted a few months ago here on the rumors board that offers pictures of River Country in its current abandoned state. Judging from its current condition, I don't think Disney has any plans to repoen this again.

man i hate to see ole abanded disney places like that sort of reminds me of 20k :sad:
 
I'm almost sure I heard that it was now officially permanently closed. But sorry I don't have details or sources.
 
You are correct. It was on another Disney site. Disney has permanentley closed River Country.
