River Belle Terrace / Fantasmic?

I haven't been able to get reservations for River Belle Terrace all week and I was wondering if it could have to do with them getting ready to start booking for Fantasmic dinners. Or are they under some kind of renovation?

Also, I was looking up Fantasmic dining and it says this:

"River Belle Terrace – Premium Package
Enjoy your meal and the first performance of Fantasmic! from your table on the outdoor patio.

Reservations for the premium seating can only be made at the restaurant.

Package Pricing
Dinner: $70 per adult and $40 per child (ages 3 to 9), tax and gratuity not included.

Times
Starting at 4:00 PM for dinner."

The part about reservations for premium seating only made at the restaurant sounds like we can't book the patio viewing/dinner ahead of time. I hope they change that, because it seems like it would be way harder to get that dining package on the day-of rather than 60 days out like other reservations.

Has anyone heard anything new about this or Fantasmic dining in general?

I have no specific info about RBT, but they are doing construction around that area so maybe it is related to that.

No news on when Fanstasmic Dinjng is opening, but that is why RB doesn’t have any availability past May 29th. They didn’t release it because at some point the Fantasmic package will be released. My guess is that they are waiting to get a more firm opening date on Blue Bayou before they release them both at once.

The way I read it was that you would still have to book the regular Fantasmic package at River Belle and then you could upgrade to the premium while there. I think it only works too if you have a late reservation right before Fantasmic. I heard the view isn’t that great from there. I’m hoping to score a lunch reservation for Fantasmic/River Belle!

I spoke with Disney yesterday about another issue and inquired about Fantasmic dining, Riverbelle, and Blue Bayou. She said that from her end on her calendar Blue Bayou was labeled to be closed until the end of June. She said they could get done earlier and change it, but for now that is what the calendar was saying. She told me that all she could see about Riverbelle Terrace was that there was no availability. As for Fantasmic dining, she just told quoted me what was on the Disneyland page and the date it was coming back, but couldn’t really answer when the dining packages would be out other than “soon”. Sorry I don’t have more answers for you. I wish Disney wasn’t so vague.

Yes, it looks like reservations available until the day Fantasmic returns, 5/28. I don't think May reservations were wide open last week when I checked though.
