River Belle Terrace Fantasmic Package

I have this booked because I am curious to try preferred seating. I am a Disneyland vet, we go all the time, but my past trips were in April and July of 2014, so I haven't been back for the new dinner packages. I got on allears.net and noticed that the River Belle Terrace menu for Fantasmic looked tasty and $20.00 less per person, so I thought I would give it a go.

Here are my three questions for those who have done it--
1. Is the food good? The New York steak sounds pretty yummy
2. Is the reserved seating you get in the same area as the Blue Bayou reserved seating?
3. My reservations are at 4:20 for a dinner, I am assuming that since we'd have an early meal, I would be seating for the first show, correct?

1. I can't speak to this until this weekend

2. It is next to the Blue Bayou reserved seating. It appears to be basically in front of the old desert package seating.

3. I've been told by Disboards and by CM over the phone that reservations before 6:30pm get you the early show.

1) We liked the food. The New York Strip is a section of the strip, not a full steak, but the shrimp skewer is very good and so are the sides that come with it. And the rolls were amazing.

2) When we did this in April, the RBT section was just to the left of the BB section if you were facing the water. Very central and very nice views of the show.

3) First show for sure.

1. We liked the food. In our party, we had each of the meals and all said were yummy. I really liked the corn chowder!
2. When we went on 6/10, they had combined the RBT and BB seating. Not sure if it is still that way or not. I would be upset paying the extra money and the cushion being the only perk for BB.
3. First show, We were at 6pm and they asked us which show we wanted and I said early show.

If I remember correctly, adults are 41.99 and children 21.99. I think there is a link to the prices and menu in the Fanstasmic Superthread. We got a 15% discount with our Ap's.

Premium annual passes get 15% off of food, the others get 10%.

As for the viewing sections, yes they are still both combined Riverbelle Terrace and blue Bayou so the cushion is your only benefit

Pretty sure RBT F! receives a cushion too. Right?
I say skip the cushion if necessary, instead receive a good sized treasure of chocolate!

No. Only BB gets the cushion.

Correct! Only BB gets the cushion. Since we did BB last trip and were separate, I knew right away that things were changed since people were coming into what I thought was the RBT area with cushions. Good thing I asked a CM before telling this couple behind us they were in the wrong spot. I would have been so embarrassed.

I just did the RBT package last weekend. I was not impressed with the food at all! I had the chicken and the whole dish came out lukewarm. It tasted fine but the mashed potatoes where a bit pasty and the broccolini was undercooked. We were in a rush and got our desserts to go but never ended up eating them, which was a bummer. I also did not like the cafeteria feeling. I have also done the Blue Bayou package and feel that is soooo much better and well worth it! I would not do RBT again.

That said, we were very pleased with our F! seats, which were in the same section as BB. We booked an earlier dinner to get the first show, but when we got to the restaurant it seemed like you could pick whichever show you wanted.
