River Belle Fantasmic (NOT premium)

I know you have to specifically book the Fantasmic dining package for the Blue Bayou and the premium at river Belle as such, but wondering if you can still book a REGULAR lunch reservation at river Belle and upgrade to a Fantasmic package when you check in? This used to be the case and of course the earlier it was your chance for the first show was higher…

We just did this in October. Just check in and ask for an upgrade. We got the first show, and that was in busy October. The options for food aren't super awesome, and the price goes up crazy high in Disney fashion. But since Disneyland can't get their act together with the reservation system, this is the best way.

Thanks!!! I had totally forgotten about this option. Will try it in June. Would rather have hungry bear but didn’t decide to go til a week past the 60
Day mark.

The seats were good. They weren't dead center, but we got there early enough to move toward the center from our section. The fact we had seats was nice for sure.

It was a pre-fixe menu with just handful of options.
