I am going to take DD18 to WDW for 3 nights in May. Most likely Mon-Thur. We would have 3 day park hoppers and hit all 4 parks. Would hit Epcot and MK late hours if they are still happening Mon and Wed.

We have never stayed at Riv or been on the skyliner. Based on availability we can do 3 nights at Poly, or split VGF/Poly with Riviera. We will be spending enough time at resorts to shop/ dine at the quick service/ hang out a little. We will have a car and traveling very light so easy to move between resorts and don’t care about being homeless for a bit. Should we try 2 nights at Riviera, do the first 3 parks and then move to GF the last night and do MK (plus a massage at GF?)

I vote for three nights at Poly because it's a short trip. I love how Poly is close monorail/boat ride to MK. I find it too time-consuming to switch resorts on a short trip. Also, since you have a car, you will save a lot of time driving to EPCOT, DHS, or AK instead of Disney transportation. You can always hop on the Skyliner to visit Riviera on an EPCOT or DHS visit.

Sounds like you plan to mostly spend time at the parks. Maybe a pool break in the afternoon?

If so, then stick with one room.

I would do it. We do that pretty much every trip…one night at VGF and then 2 nights at RIV. We love it.
