I just read this in the newsletter of the New Jersey Federation of Camera Clubs. "Ritz Camera, the nations largest retail camera store chain, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. This over 600 store chain also operates under the
name of Wolf Photo and additionally owns 137 Boaters World stores. A combined amount of $40,000,000 is owed to Canon and Nikon alone."

It was just *too* easy to spend a lot with a camera store next to a boating store! ')
And now they might closed up shop too.

Like Circuit City and other companies that have gone belly up even after filing for Chapter 11 protection, the problem is that no one is writing loans for companies that owe millions of dollars to their creditors. They'll give it to you if you don't need it though!
