Talking to a patient about Rise of the Resistance and our thoughts after riding a few times....and although we both loved the ride and its many positives, we did agree that the projection of the characters was a little bit lacking. The shadows of the interrogation room was really cool, but the characters did not seem to be really "there" , if that makes sense.. which brings me to two points:
1. I think the awesomeness of the audio animatronics along with the wonderful First Order cast really makes the projection system the weak link in the story
2. Escape from Gringotts provided more realistic projections than rise by far..... so than could the use of 3D projections have possibly added to the realism of what was happening in Rise? or would it taken away from the rest of the visuals?
3. I also think the images were not really as high definition as they could have possibly been...kinda like comparing the old Spiderman vs the newer, digital Spiderman... I understand glass was probably used, but the images just did not seem sharp..
your thoughts?
