Does anyone know how high the big drop is on this ride? I`ve watched it on Youtube, and it does look kinda steep. I chickened out of this last year and the Hulk to be honest, but really really want to do them this year.
I manage all the Disney rides ok and love the drop on splash mountain, but this one looks a lot worse.
Is it a lot steeper or is it my imagination. Although DH and DS say they are going to drag me on whether I want to or not:scared1:

According to Kelly Monaghan's book, Universal Orlando, it is a 60 foot drop. I do not like heights but I enjoyed this ride. I have never done Hulk so I can't comment.

75. JP is over 80.

And don't worry, the drop isn't as scary as it looks.

I agree with DM, I would say that it's about 60-70ft.

just got back and i saw where it takes your picture on the way down now......don't remember that, must be new.

The picture has been added within the last 2 months.

FINALLY, I say.

Ooooooh thanks guys. Forgot about Jurassic Park, going to have to do that this year as well. I think the only ones I won`t manage this year through sheer fear is the Hulk and Duelling Dragons. Going to try and go on the Hulk though, well maybe

we did hulk 7 times I believe, it's always a must do. DD is always an iffy for me, my sons can do it 24/7, but I always get a headache on ICE, I think Fire is "softer" than ICE.

DM...........I knew the "drop shot":lmao: was knew, my sons hat was in the air in the pic; was truly hilarious.

DH lost his favorite hat on that in October of 06 :sad2:

On previous trips he had never lost a hat - oh well - gave him an excuse to buy the Universal visor he has now :thumbsup2

Most say Ice is not as intense as Fire. Either way, both are HUNGRY MANIACAL DRAGONS! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

:3dglasses

I lost my prescription glasses on the Hulk and I still rode it a couple of times afterwards - it's a great ride!!

Actually the Hulk and DD are the reason we'll be going back in November 2010, & HP, of course.:lmao:

My youngest DD was crying that she couldn't ride neither Hulk or Dragons but she will be tall enough in a couple of years:thumbsup2
