Ripsaw Falls - How Tight?

I have never been to IOA before (strictly WDW so far). However, I love Splash Mountain & I have seen pictures/videos of Ripsaw Falls and it looks neat. The only problem is, I hear it can be a tight fit for someone who is, shall we say, 'Hulk' size (especially with those lap bars). (BTW, I've never had any problems fitting into any WDW attractions)

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this attraction? Any problems getting onto this attraction? Thanks

You heard right, it can be a pretty tight fit at Ripsaw Falls. I think what you have to worry about most is height wise. I'm 6', 215 pounds and it's a bit tough getting in and out...but once I'm in it's relatively comfortable. They have a test log you can get into in front of Ripsaw Falls.

My DS15 is 6'3" (but skinny) and he was wedged in there very tight lengthwise. It took him awhile to get out :)

It's kind of like Space Mountain...there's no real easy or polite way to enter or exit the ride vehicle. :rotfl:

Last time I went I was 244 ish and 6 feet tall and it was rly rly tight. Won't be doing again this trip in Dec. Rode it 3 or so times last time I was there and probably won't do it anymore even if I was skinnier I can't see anyone being actually comfortable in those things. It is a fun ride though. I suggest checking the seat out front and see if you like it. I got absolutely soaked so have some more clothes :)

you will get in, but getting out will be a problem. but youll be drenched so hopefully you will be able to slide out.

Thanks for the responses :)

I guess I'm more worried about my tummy keeping me off this ride (due to the lapbars) than my height. I almost didn't fit into a coaster at Mall of America in Minneapolis, but, as I said before, I haven't had any problems at WDW. Also, this attraction is the main reason that I'm considering visiting IOA.

Although fun, I think this is the most awkward ride to get in/out! I have bad knees, and it's a pain!

There is the test log out front. Try the 4th seat. Stretch your legs forward as much you can and wiggle/slide in.
