I did a search and didnt find anything too recent -- is it good, bad, just ok? Worth the time and money? Kids are 12, 12 and 8.
Thanks

I have been to two different Ripley's. The one in St. Augustine was fun and well worth the money. The one here in Orlando...was a waste of money and I had to "dawdle" to get twenty minutes of time there. I can NOT recommend it.

We did the one in Orlando and the kids loved it! (ages 3.5, 9, 12, 14 & 16). I thought it was a bit on the expensive side, but worth seeing once. Also, we were there in August and decided to go on one of the hottest days we were there because its AIR CONDITIONED!!!!

We did the one in Orlando for our honeymoon in 05. We liked it but I think you could best use the money for something else. Only reason we went was DH is a huge Ripley's fan.

We live near Niagara Falls and have went to Ripley's there at least 3 or 4 times over the years and have always seen something that we missed. We went to the one in Orlando and LOVED it! But my kids love to get the new Ripleys book at Christmas and use it as a bathroom reader all year long. Having said that, we spent a good 2 hours there and thought it was WELL worth the money. Do a search on trip advisor or another review board then make your decision. We really enjoyed it and would go back.

Loved the Ripley's in St. Augustine went there 2 months ago after an 11 year haitious and still looks the same. They recently are doing remodeling in some sections including the ferress wheel. It's also the original museum where in the parking lot they filmed live segments like the guy pulling 2 firetrucks, a young girl (a varsity HS football player) hauling a dodge truck full of her teammates, sword swallowing guy etc. from the show.

DH and I did it once and enjoyed it....I dont think we would go back...it is one of those "Once you see it ... you've seen it" kind of things

I have to say that I'm 29 and my GF is 26... we loved Ripley's in Orlando. Probably not a place we'd go to again but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Just trying to get my biggest bang for the buck while in FL. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

your kids may have more fun at wonderworks, which is near ripleys. You can't miss it. It's the "upside down house" lol
