:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:
This was my old school. I knew this boy, Ryan, vaguely, but I knew his sister fairly well.
I'm freaking out right now. I'm just thinking, what if we were still there, and it had been me, or my brother, or one of my friends. My mom worked there. It could have been her. Our family was friends with a lot of the workers there. What if they had been in there? As it was, one of the janiters that was a favorite of everyone was very near and could have gotten hit.
We called over there and talked to some of the secrataries that are our friends. Everyone is shaken up and not many children are in school today.
Which brings me to another thing. The superintendant, Mrs. Filyaw, is such a bad superintendant. She has been for years, and she is just waiting to get fired. I cannot see why she made them stay in school the rest of yesterday, and come back today.
I am just very sad and freaked out right now I'm crying.
Please keep the Wesling family and the family of the two others injured in your prayers. I have heard that his sister, Heather, is in bad shape right now. Please say an extra prayer for her.
Thanks:grouphug:

it is just so tragic.
he was such a nice boy, young and full of life.
and nows he is gone.
may he RIP.
<3

and thanks, every prayer and ounce of pixie dusts helps.
heather is a wreck, from what i heard.
i feel so bad fpor her.

And its a horrible thought to have someone die before a superindentent is fired.

oh i feel so sorry to who this has affected it sound horrilble R.I.P

WOW....

And he was only 8 year's old? So sad that his young life was cut short...

Of course I will pray for his family...

Wow...

I can understand not sending kids home early the day of the crash unless they were related to the victims, just because with kids that young their parents need to be home, and their was no way to guarenttee that. The other children's lives were also not in danger as they would be in say a bomb threat. I don't think that classes should have been buisness as usual or anything like that though.

I gets very ruff making these kind of decisions with children that age. While the superindentent is currently being criticized for sending the kids back to early, if she didn't send them back that early I'm sure she would get a whole other slew of complaints from parents who work and can't make arrangements for other people to watch their kids with that short of notice.

My prayers are with the families affected.

How awful. Old people shouldn't be allowed to drive. They are just too dangerous. Prayers are with that little boy's family.

That is so sad!
You'd think a kid could get hurt at school on the jungle gym,or somewhere else outside, but you'd never think of a car driving strait into the cafeteria!
I feel very sorry for the family, this is so terrible,I'm definetly going to pray for the family.
Prayers and pixiedust all the way!

That's so sad =(
Prayers to the family and everyone affected by this.
honestly, I remember back when a girl who had just graduated from grade 8 got ran over on the highway on her bike. It was so sad, I didn't know her, but she was full of energy, on every sports team. She was about to begin some of the best years of her life, and she never got to experience them.

And a boy a few years back died of a heart disease, while I didn't know him very well, it scared me. He was my assistant soccer coach in grade one, and he was always so nice. I never knew he had anything wrong with him, and I actually had a crush on him (I loved boys since I was little) and when I found out... I was kind of numb.

Old ladies must love to crash through walls. I've heard of this type of thing happening before...

R.I.P., though I didn't know him, and prayers with his family.

i agree with that too, i think that probably i was so against it in the first pklace is of the person who made it. shes not just a bad superintendant in our family, bc my mom worked there and she made work heck for my mom fpr years, so im kind of mad at her for that.
plus i just thought the little kids [the pre-k were in there when it happened, they were getting their trays] would be scared out of their minds and such.
but i do see what your saying :)
