Paid for the video and found when I got home 90% was crap. 10 seconds of us on the ride and the rest promo . Not worth the money by any means

I would contact Universal and see what they can do to make it right. I thought you had the option to view at least parts of it before purchase, but certainly could be wrong about that. You didn't happen to select a hidden song, did you?

No, we got the music we picked but only on a small part of the video. I'm sure there must be a way to preview but did not check it out. Just assumed it would be a video of our ride not a promo for the music and the ride. One of those live and learn things. Just ticked me off to fall for it. Saving grace, the ride was great.

The reason I asked is that hidden songs will prevent you from being able to purchase the video--copyright entanglements so I'm told. I'm wondering if that's what happened in your case and the TM erred by not checking and selling it to you anyway.

This happens on all the dvds, regardless of the song choice. I bought one during soft previews, and it was the same.. mostly promo video with very limited on-ride footage.

Sorry to hear that it is the norm but they should not advertise it as "your" video. Very deceptive. It was just such a disapointment to find once you get home. Added insult is that the cost is way too high for what you get.
