RIp Ride and Rockit Survey from US

Just got an email from US asking about songs for the new Rip Ride and Rockit.



Thank you for your participation on the Universal Orlando survey panel!

As you may have heard, the new Hollywood Rip Ride, Rockit roller coaster at Universal Orlando Florida (scheduled to open next spring!) will let you choose which song will play while you ride the ride. Right now we're picking the songs that will appear on the list of available tunes, and we'd like you to help us decide!

Some of the songs are interesting

I did that survey yesterday and couldn't believe they spelled "a lot" as one word!!!!

I just recieved that email and yes the songs are interesting and some just don't make any sense and hope they don't use them

Some of the song choices were great though. I took it this morning. It should be fun.. I definitely want to ride it once to the ET flying theme.

don't beat me down , do believe that the Universal survey panel (ala most of the genre) had us sign a confidentiality/proprietary clause & wouldn't necessarily want develoment issues posted on a public forum

i'd hate to see another park 'steal' their ideas for a new ride

hope they donn't use some of them songs..

very intresting too know,will the whole car of 10 people(i'm guessing on what it will hold)have to hear the same song as everyone else??

Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth would be awesome!!! but it would have to be the slowest roller coaster ever there are so many faster and heavier Megadeth songs that would be fitting to choose from...Same with Judas Priest "You've got another thing coming" is pretty slow.."Painkiller" or "Electric Eye" would have been much much better choices.

Seek and Destroy is an awesome choice!!!! Classic Tallica is amazing...Hard, fast , and Heavy perfect combination for a roller coaster..


Looking at the list I am surpised that they don't have GNR in the mix of potential bands and songs..Welcome to the Jungle would be pretty cool..

From what you've posted, I can tell you that I was offered VERY different choices! LL Cool J was on my list

The most decent song of my choices was Ozzy's Crazy Train.

How much does Busch Gardens charge for the video of Sheikra? It's probably going to be very similar

i did the survey and did all 8 pages of song selections for it.

if you stopped with the first page, you missed out on all the choices they had listed. you had to click on continue for the next page of song titles.

the wind beneath by bette middler sure wouldn't fly for me on a roller coaster.
also the slow songs and country tunes that were listed didn't fit for a fast moving ride.

Just signed up under my husbands email and there was no confidentiality clause. They stated they would never sell our info.

I must live a sheltered life. I didn't know a 1/3 of the songs listed, probably more than that. Of course, I might know them if I heard them, but from name alone, nope!

Thanks Mac...'tis done. I went in with my work email and, this time, got to vote on all of the song choices. Definitely some strange ones in there!
