RIP Richard Chamberlain

I remember Richard Chamberlain from Dr. Kildare. Yeah, I'm old. I saw him in a live production of "My Fair Lady." My favorite was his performance in the Four Musketeers.

He was so good in Shogun, Thorn Birds, and I remember a TV movie, about Raoul Wallenberg, and other TV appearances. I think I saw the Allan Quartermain movies back in the day. My mom really enjoyed Shogun and Thorn Birds though.

My favorites of his movies are The Man in the Iron Mask, The Thorn Birds, (which opened my views on the competitive nature of the hierarchy of the Catholic Church,) and The Slipper and the Rose, a Cinderella musical movie.

I love The Slipper and the Rose. He was a good actor who took parts that could have been played over the top and made them believable. RIP
