My heart breaks for the grandparents too, it must feel awful to know that this happened while she was in their care.

Thank you for the link. I did find it and read through their blog. It's hard for me to imagine having the strength that her parents had, but you do what you have to do.

I have not followed this blog, I understand the child has passed but was wondering what happened?
I did click on the blog link but there is so much, I didn't want to read it all knowing it was going to turn out badly, could someone just briefly give a quick what happened so people that don't know (like myself) can know?

Preslee's Grandparent's were watching her and some how she fell into a canal, about a half an hour later, and two miles down stream she bumped into a farmer working in the canal who knew infant CPR and began it immediately. It really sounded like she was going to make it, and it was such a miracle that someone had been standing in that water to save her. Now it seems like the miracle is that her story, and her families strength, has touched and inspired people all over the world. I guess it's an example of the mysterious ways God works in our lives, but it breaks my heart all the same.

Such a sad sad story! I work at the U of U which is attached to PCMC. Such a heartbreaking story and definitely hits close to home!
