Interestingly enough I just heard a news report yesterday that he was flat broke and living off the government. Not sure of the validity of that claim.......

I'm ashamed to say I have never seen The Godfather nor A Streetcar named Desire.

However, I do have Guys and Dolls at home and will have to pull that out this weekend.

I loved him in Guys and Dolls -- an unusual role for him, but still...

I saw that story too, snoopy. Sad to hear of his passing. A towering talent, but haunted by his own demons also, it seems. I doubt that we will see anyone quite like Mr. Brando again . . .

...he made my favourite, all time films, (The Godfather) so compelling... RIP Mr Brando

Amazing in the Godfather movies... amazing in Apocalypse Now (the greatest film ever made, in my opinion)... amazing in everything he did (even the bad films). What a unique individual he was. A brilliant actor, a very odd man. He will be missed greatly. A major loss to the film industry.
