well, with official Disney Dining 2011 brochure out, we now know the rumors about Le Cellier are for real.

For us, that's a wrap on Le Cellier...though we loved the food there, no way is it worthy of Signature dining status. The main reason it was always booked was because they offered steak in a small restaurant. Had the place been bigger I doubt that it would have always been fully booked.

I'm not sure if we'll go back there after our January trip...I'm sure they'll expand the menu some, and perhaps take a few of the tables out of there. Can't see signature prices when you're sitting in each other's laps.

Guess we'll wait awhile and get some reports once it goes "signature". Maybe they'll surprise us.

I hope that means that for my ADR in december I only have to use one DDP table service credit. Guess I got in just in time!:santa:

We have an ADR for mid-January. I expect this to be our last dinner there. ;)

will be very, very curious watching the threads for March ADRs:surfweb:...you just know there's going to be a bunch of people at first thrilled to finally get a Le Cellier ADR...and then terribly disappointed when they find out it will cost them big bucks or 2 TS.

Guess that will make the lunch ADRs the tough ones to get.

Has anyone seen what the Disney Dining prices will be for 2011?

I agree, I think there will be quite a few angry and disappointed visitors. I can't say if it's worth 2TS credits for dinner or not, although it doesn't appear that way compared to other sig's. Next month is our first time to dine at LeCellier, maybe I will have a clear opinion then. At any rate, if it stays the same and I enjoy it, I will try again for a lunch ADR.

well, the Disney reservations system is "unavailable to process package reservations at this time" so maybe they're loading the package prices for 2011 into the system right now. The info will soon be available, I'm sure.

We got pixie dusted and ended up with an ADR for Le Cellier last year. I remember having the filet mignin with mushroom risotto which was really good but I don't think it was worth 2 adr's. I don't think it's up there with V&A's. I was hoping to get in on our vaca later this month but alas nothing. Now that Via Napoli is open and will be accepting ressies tomorrow (fingers crossed) I see them being the new "it" place to eat. RIP LC.

Heeey, maybe they're going to add the princesses!

:scared1:

Kidding, kidding! :duck:

Yeah, sure, that famous Canadian princess...you remember, what was her name? The one that married the Mountie...:rotfl::rotfl2::rotfl:

Amen ! Now that all the people who only go because of free dining will stay away and those of us who actually pay for our meals can get a ressie !

Only for the Dinner reservations if I read correctly?
Lunches are still 1 credit so I don't have to change my plans.:thumbsup2

It doesn't seem to bother Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Cinderella and Princess Aurora, none of whom are Norwegian. Granted, Ariel's at least Scandinavian, although by all appearances in the film, seems to have relocated to the south of France.

And I suppose you always pay rack rate. Free dining is a deal based on staying in a resort at rack rate, and is just 1 form of several resort discounts. Room discounts are often more lucrative at deluxe. Should we look down our noses at those people?

What do you want to bet that the lunch menu gets drastically changed?

And ITA, DonaldTDuck! If I get free dining while I'm paying rack rate for a deluxe resort because no other discounts are available, why does that make me a bad person? Trust me, I would much rather get 25-40% off my room and pay for my dining out of pocket without the DDP!!

Me too! I purposely made two ADRs there for my Dec trip (lunch and dinner), just because of this rumor. No way is Le Cellier worth two credits. CRT used to be a 'had to do' every trip until they went to two credits. Now we no longer choose to patronize that restaurant, just like we'll no longer go to Le Cellier (except maybe for a one credit lunch). I usually love the Signature restaurants, but no park restaurant is worth 2 credits.
