I remember him hosting several game shows.

I mainly remember him from wheel of fortune, back when you could/had to buy a ceramic dog! I thought he did a good job on that show.

that's sad, remember him from several games show. my older son loves GSN, watches it often. Fun to watch the old shows sometimes.

I always think of Chuck Woolery as the host of Wheel of Fortune. And Pat Sajak as the weatherman from KNBC Channel 4 in Los Angeles.

That is sad. May he indeed rest in peace. Years ago but not that many I wrote him thanking him for brightening up moments for my beloved late grandma and me when I was so young. Grandma always enjoyed Love Connection. Later Scrabble. My dear dad and I more currently had fun watching Lingo reruns. I will always remember Chuck writing me back which was so kind. I no longer have his reply but definitely hang onto the memory.
