Just heard on CNN that he passed away.

I heard he had a stroke but I didn't know it was that serious.

Wow, never expected that one. He was the creator of some truly fantastic shows! My thoughts are with his family.

They had actually sent him home after he had a minor stroke. It's been said by many different reliable sources that the stroke happend days after he and daughter Tori reconciled after a fall-out. She's still not talking to her mother, and I'm wondering if this would bring them together.

Awwww...that's so sad. I was just watching an E! True Hollywood Story about 90210, and saw him on that. He gave us many hours of entertainment, and will be missed.

That is so sad. I wonder if the fall-out between he and Tori was over her breaking up her current husband's marriage? I pray they did reconcile before he passed away.

the msn story says he passed away this last nite at 6:25 with his wife and son Randy at his side..earlier in the day I read on ET that Tori and her husband were on their way home from Canada to see him..she had been publicizing her noTORious show..shame that she didn't get there on time,they might have had a chance to make peace
