Hi !

I am certain that the people on the DIS can help with this one ! :goodvibes:goodvibes

I had a terrific dachshund ringtone on my tmobile phone (sounded just like my mini-doxie barking) . Now I have a Blackberry and had thought that the rigntone would transfer to this phone - not the case, as I found out. Now, it appears that the ringtone is not available on the Tmobile site any longer.

Are there any "safe" sites where I might be able to find the ringtone I am looking for? I don't mind paying for it but I don't want to be peppered with tons of text messages from marketers, etc. for getting a ringtone from a website.

I am guessing that I cannot get ringtones from competitors websites. Is that correct ?

Any help is appreciated ! :)

I've downloaded ringtones from www.myxer.com with good success. Most of the ringtones are free. It was a recommendation from a fellow Diser. I'm not sure if they'd have your dog sound, but they had lots of Disney tunes and sounds. I never get any unwanted mail from them.

Phonezoo.com is also another great site for free ringtones. I especially love getting my songs from iTunes through Phonezoo. They just text to your phone!

I was waiting to pick up kids at VBS this AM and thought I heard a Kim Possible ring tone on another mom's phone. She disappeared into the building. My kids would just LOVE it if I had that on my phone. Hoping to seek it out sometime tonight.

Sorry, I know that this is probably very basic but I have never downloaded a ringtone. I'm confused.

I have been to the two websites mentioned above and would like to get some ringtones.... so......

You pick a ringtone and they send it to your phone? Do you need to connect it to your computer? do you have to buy a subscription or anything? is it safe? does anyone have any hints?

Sorry, I feel like such a dork for asking all of this, but I don't want to goof up my phone or get a bunch of unwanted texts ect..

thanks for any help!

I love phonezoo.com as well! There is no charge to use them. With their site you have the option to either download the file to your computer (and then transfer to your phone with a usb cable), or send a text directly to your phone with it. :thumbsup2
