I just called Verizon to ask about their ringtones because they do have a few Disney songs. The rep on the phone told me that it is a one time fee to acquire the song ($1.99 or $2.99; I forgot which) and it is only good for one year. He said that then there is a $0.99 fee added to the bill each month after the download.

The .99/mo after a year is news to me I have verizon and have had disney ring tones since day 1 on my phone and never pd beyond download fee. Phone is about 3 yrs old now.

It worked the same from both the AT&T Wireless and Cingular sites. I'd imagine it's probably the same setup for pretty much everybody if you go through your carrier.

Ringback is a service you pay for so that when someone calls you, they hear a song instead of the normal "ring ring" sound. Kind of a huge waste of money to me. A buck a month so that someone hears a few seconds of a song before I answer my phone?

ITA!!!!!!!! I don't want that feature! I just want to download a Disney song from that Disney link on page one and have that song play as my ring for my phone. I was hoping to do that and only pay a one time small fee ($2 or $3) on my own and not have any cost or difference show up on the phone bill. We don't even receive the bill. It goes straight to DH's company. I know that I could reimburse them for a one time fee if needed. I just don't want to add a monthly charge to have the Disney ring.

I'm in the same boat with my cell phone bill. I just got a new Verizon phone yesterday and downloaded Fantasmic. I was a little disappointed in the selection. It was mostly Pirates of the Caribbean music and wallpaper. I wanted a photo of the castle, guess I'll just have to take one on my own when I'm down there in September.

I did mine via phone through verizon get it now feature. I paid for 10 uses and got some wallpapers and ring tones my Dh's ring is "Can you feel the Love Tonight" fom Lion King.

Verizon has a Disney service on the Get It Now plan, but it isn't available to all phone models. I can't get it with my phone

I've also been trying to find a ringtone for "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends". I love that theme song!

I'm giving up on looking - there's really not that much out there unless you want to subscribe to a service. So I ordered a software package to make my own ringtones. 2bmarried, I LOVE the Foster's theme song, too!!!
