I just got a new cell phone and want my Mickey Mouse March ringtone from my old phone back.
I don't have internet on my phone and can't remember how I got the other one or which site I used to get it. I have had the ringtone for over 5 years.
Every site that I found when I did a search involves either signing up for the service for $9.99 a month or downloading the ringtone.
Does anyone know how I can get a ringtone without paying anything and of course not having internet on the phone? And explain slowly, I have no computer knowledge at all.

myxer has always worked for us. I've noticed that people with verizon have a problem though.

I've seen others recommend phone zoo. I've never used it.

Also if you have an SD card or micro SD card, you could always download it to your pc and drag it to the SD/Micro SD card and put back in your phone that way, find it and then designate it as your ringtone. Or our old phones used a firewire and we were able to load ringtones that way.

try using myxer.com, that's where I get most of my Disney ringtones...once you find the one you want you just type in your number and they will text it to you which you can then download to your phone (and i used to have a pretty crappy phone and it still worked)...and I've never had any problems with spam or any extra advertising from them

Does myxer work with an iphone? I'm about to make the plunge to switch to AT&T to get the phone....but the thought of losing my Fantasmic ringtone worries me:goodvibes I believe I got it right through T-Mobile when I got it for my current phone.

I've only heard of myxer having issues with verizon. Supposedly it had been fixed but there was a poster on here about two months ago who was having problems. I think it flat out told her that she couldn't do it and I don't think she could see them after that. I am pretty sure it was specifically disney ringtones she couldn't see afterward. That is why I mentioned the SD card. There is the option of downloading directly to your pc. You can just drag the file to your card and designate it from there.

I can dig later for the thread.

The guy at AT&T where I got my phone suggested myxter.com also but I can't get into that site. Every time I click on it I wind up being sent to a pay for download site.
When I checked out that site I couldn't find any Disney tunes, only some TV shows.
Anyone know how to get to myxter without being sent to flycell?

Another option to keep your Mickey Mouse March ringtone is send the ringtone from your old phone to your new phone via Bluetooth. This is what I did with my old phone ringtones.

are you trying from your phone or from your home pc?

You can try like the PP said with the bluetooth, but if you don't have bluetooth you can try downloading to your pc and uploading onto a SD/microSD card or if your phone can do it, a firewire.

We have sprint, I can access that site: www.myxer.com

Is this the one?

Phonezoo, we have 4 phones and I make all our ringtones. It's very easy, you just upload your music, make your tone and have it sent to your phone, as long as you've got texting on your phone it's free. :)

Thanks for the info on phonezoo. I'm waiting for them to send me a twilight ringtone. hope it works! I've always had the boring standard ringtones.

There were SO many great ones on myxer...until I created an account for my verizon phone. Now all the good disney ones are gone, and the rest are $1.99 - $2.99...not even free anymore. I'm not the person who posted about that 2mths ago...I just did it now before reading your post. If it's a glitch, it's still there. :( If not, myxer is not the site for verizon users.

I'll stick w/ phonezoo. Not as many great Disney ones, but at least they work w/ my verizon phone & are truly free.

I have a verizon phone too....well actually an alltel phone, but we're now verizon. I'm still waiting for them to send me my ringtone. Their txt's came through without a problem just wondering if it's supposed to take this long to get the ringtone.

They usually come really fast...maybe it got lost in space. LOL If it doesn't come soon, try it again. :)
