Have a great first birthday party today Bella! Can't wait for the pictures and to see all the fun!

We're having computer issues, but there will be pictures whenever we get things situated. We had a lot of fun yesterday.

Enjoy your celebrations this weekend (birthday, Easter, family...all the good stuff!) I would remind you to take pictures so we can all see but I know that would just be silly!

Yes, there was a camera going at all times. Sometimes two of them. The cousins took pictures, too. The kids just played, and the rest of us were the paparazzi.

Brooklynn is so cute gathering all of her safari friends. Little ones are amazed in the simplest ways. The other day we had dinner at my friend's house and her grandchildren were there, a girl who is 2 and a three month old baby boy. So we brought the babies presents. The girl got a baby doll set and it had food, cups, diapers, a car seat, and a baby bag. Guess which part she liked the best. The cup!

And little ones are amazing in simple ways. I love to watch kids play and learn. Bella has learned to go up and down the steps, and just watching her maneuver that is so interesting - the way she puts her foot down and feels to make sure it is safe to continue down, etc. Watching Brooklynn's face as she watches a movie is just fascinating to me. She is so absorbed in what is going on, and her reactions range from puckered lips to all out laughter. Watching all the boys roughhouse yesterday was fun to watch - the way they do everything with such zeal. I just love and appreciate the gift of the children in my life!

We are having a beautiful weekend. All is quiet right now. I have green beans cooking and eggs boiling. I'm going to make deviled eggs for Trent and Drew, because they love them.

I agree! It would be worth the extra $$ for a fridge. And they certainly have the room to put one in.

We'd be willing to pay a couple of extra dollars, and the refrigerators would pay for themselves in the first month!

Creative baking! Of course the Twix would never make it on the cookies if that were my house... I am baking sugar cookies as I type (in the oven!) ... going to frost them tomorrow... I say this about the Twix with confidence. She who has polished off a bag of Malted Eggs.... OKAY it took me three days, but I ate.all.of.them...

Confession out of the way, I will go back to my comments about the cute AK pics and the animal play there in the shop, and of course hearing all about your family fun this weekend, I am sure the party was lovely, and your Easter tomorrow will be too!!!!

I know Jill was ready to crash last night. She has had a busy week of being creative.

We'll try to have pictures up tonight, if the computer cooperates.

My computer has a virus, but Jarvis is going to work on it this afternoon. Hopefully, we will get pictures up tonight of the party yesterday. We had a very nice time. Bella had no idea anything was for her, of course.

I could see a change in the way he was carrying himself yesterday, and he said he felt better. He wasn't holding his ribs too much, so I think he'll live. He did go and shoot some dog pictures yesterday, and he was here for a while for the party. As soon as he thinks he can be on that bike again, he will be back to working on another hurt, I'm sure!

He went down to the den to take some, but then I heard him complain about the lighting, so I don't know what he got really. Hopefully, between Jill's camera and mine, we got some decent ones. Drew told Jill he wants to set up his fancy lighting and do a shoot with the girls.

If all of his ouchies so far haven't convinced him to stop, I don't think anything will. He's as obsessed with BMX as we are with Disney. Even if I broke my collarbone, ribs, and whatever else occasionally when I went to Disney World, I would keep on going. That's how he is with that bike stuff.

I just bought some plates and table covers on clearance the other day at walmart for Caleb's 2nd birthday (which I cannot believe is only 6 mos away) that were orange. I am doing a Handyman theme since I want to do the Handy Manny theme when he is 3 and can really remember it more. BUt I want to get use out of the saw cake cutter I want to get, so I can use it two years in a row! LOL!

Hope you all had a good Easter. We took Caleb last night to my mom's and she had an easter egg hunt for the kids. Caleb finally got the hang of it after my nephew had already found all the eggs...BUT my nephew put his basket down to go play in the sand box and Caleb stole all of his eggs. Once it was time to go inside I told JJ to get his basket and he goes "that ones not mine"....yep it is...your cousin just stole all the eggs. LOL!

The Easter bunny brought Caleb today a big fluffy stuffed duck and a Easter Mickey that i got at the disney store. It was put in Caleb's little recliner. He was so mad that something was in his chair! LOL!....didn;t care too much for what was in his basket! LOL!

I just got back from Disney Fri night and I brought back so shopping pics for you all. I'll try to post them soon.
We were at AK on NYDay also and it was rainy! We rode Everest in the rain, it was fun. It wasn't very crowded and we were able to get alot done in short amount of time. We didn't stay there very long since it was so dreary. We were at AK last Sunday and it rained(poured) that day too. The weather wasn't bad when we first got there, but it started raining that afternoon. We left shortly after since it was raining hard.

First, it's Tigger limbo.
Originally it was giraffe limbo, but there are no giraffes in the Hundred Acre Wood, so we tweaked it a bit.
The picture Jamie was coloring earlier covered up the giraffe.

Time for the birthday girl to try.

Next was a ladybug toss. These kids are four and younger, so they just tossed the rubber lady bugs as close as they could to the round ladybugs and we all clapped.

Bella didn't care about smashing her smash cake.

She put her fingers in it once, but otherwise, it stayed unsmashed.
