Ringing in 2010, 6 months til we'll be back again

What a great party and how wonderful for you that were able to see Trent again so soon! I know that makes you happy!!! Jill did such an amazing job on those cakes!

Aw..little Bella looks adorable in that skirt! :cutie:

Love the decorations! And such a great cake Jill!

Like I always say, parties/get-togethers always look fun with you guys!

Happy Easter to all!
Happy Birthday to Bella!!
and Happy Birthday to Erica's new baby! Congratulations!!!!!

Thanks! Hope your family had a good Easter, too.
Looks like Erica will come home around Wednesday, according to her text and FB info.

looks good so far...what are the butterflies made out of for the cake?? Did you make them jill??
I just bought some plates and table covers on clearance the other day at walmart for Caleb's 2nd birthday (which I cannot believe is only 6 mos away) that were orange. I am doing a Handyman theme since I want to do the Handy Manny theme when he is 3 and can really remember it more. BUt I want to get use out of the saw cake cutter I want to get, so I can use it two years in a row! LOL!

Hope you all had a good Easter. We took Caleb last night to my mom's and she had an easter egg hunt for the kids. Caleb finally got the hang of it after my nephew had already found all the eggs...BUT my nephew put his basket down to go play in the sand box and Caleb stole all of his eggs. Once it was time to go inside I told JJ to get his basket and he goes "that ones not mine"....yep it is...your cousin just stole all the eggs. LOL!

The Easter bunny brought Caleb today a big fluffy stuffed duck and a Easter Mickey that i got at the disney store. It was put in Caleb's little recliner. He was so mad that something was in his chair! LOL!....didn;t care too much for what was in his basket! LOL!

We're all about using things more than once. When I was cleaning up yesterday, I told Jill I was holding on to that log, because I knew we'd figure out a way to use it again sometime. A teacher's mentality makes it hard to throw things away, anyway.

I know you guys had a fun day. You are so blessed to have Caleb to make all holidays so much more exciting now. :)

Happy Easter to all! and Happy Birthday to Bella! WOW, I can't believe she's already a year old! Time flies!

I'm behind on the thread and my comments!
Great NYE's fireworks pics, Drew! AWESOME!!!
Jill, I hope you get some rest after all the things you did this week..cupcakes, cake, party stuff, etc. WOW, you've been busy and it all looked great.
I just got back from Disney Fri night and I brought back so shopping pics for you all. I'll try to post them soon.
We were at AK on NYDay also and it was rainy! We rode Everest in the rain, it was fun. It wasn't very crowded and we were able to get alot done in short amount of time. We didn't stay there very long since it was so dreary. We were at AK last Sunday and it rained(poured) that day too. The weather wasn't bad when we first got there, but it started raining that afternoon. We left shortly after since it was raining hard.

I'll be ready for shopping pictures any time! :thumbsup2

Sometimes, it rains so hard that it's just not fun to try to push on, even in Disney World. We've been there before - just gave up and went back to the resort for a hot shower and some relaxing time.

such a good idea about the picture spot! Caleb would be like the little boy crying in the one picture! My SIL tried to get a picture of all the kids today but Caleb was not having it as it was naptime....never did get the pic!

I wanted the log to be bigger, but that's the best I could get. I'm glad you could at least see it. I was thinking of the DTD log, of course, where we have taken many pictures.

Great party pictures! Looks like you had a great time! You guys always have great parties! I love Pooh and all those stuffed animals!

We wanted BIG plush animals to put on the log, but they were too expensive. :sad1:

We do/did have fun, and we are always ready for an excuse to have a get-together. ::yes::

Awww, what wonderful birthday pictures!!!

Jill, you did such an awesome job on the cakes and cookies!!! They are so cute!!!!!!

The birthday looked like it was so much fun!!

Jill put a lot of effort into the cakes, and they were just as cute as they could be. The honey pot cake is going to school with Bella today for her class.

Great party pics!! Looks like everyone had a great time. Love the pic of the girls this morning in their matching outfits. Their shirts say it all "CUTE":cutie:
Love all the cute gifts & the Cinderella bear!! Glad Jamie got to make it up for the day also. Looks like Bella had a wonderful 1st birthday party.

Jill you should be a party planner!! What a great job with the cakes & games & all. Great job:thumbsup2!!

Brandy had called from Opry Mills on Saturday wondering if a Build-a-Bear with a Disney outfit would be good. Cinderella Bear will be a longtime favorite, I'm sure.

I'm glad Jamie came, too. It was kind of her family to share her with us this holiday. I made it clear to Jamie that I am not the kind of person who insists on having the holiday day, though. As long as we get together sometime around a holiday, I don't care what day it is. This just worked out because it was the Saturday closest to Bella's birthday, so we figured we could do two things at once. I know her family missed her at their festivities, and I want to be sure they know I will not be a holiday hog.

What wonderful photos and what a wonderful gathering, it sure seems like you all had a lovely time! I am sure that it was pretty amazing to have them all home :) It looks like great fun! And I love all the disney detailing :) I have seen so many of your ideas and just think they are amazing! :thumbsup2

I love having the house filled with people I love. I enjoy cooking huge pots with tons of food. Trent and Jarvis both took leftovers home, too.

Jill and I like to get ideas from magazines and then tweak them to suit our own themes. Of course, we usually try to get at least a little tiny touch of Disney in everything. The Hidden Mickey ladybug was from a pin I saw.

I did not raise this girl to put her feet on furniture :rolleyes1

Jamie called me a little while after they left - she had so much fun! I hope the journey back goes quickly for them! I don't think anything could have kept Trent from coming this weekend and I'm glad Jamie was able to come along with him!

She probably thought that futon was so ratty it didn't qualify as furniture.

I'm glad she had fun. She's so good with both the girls.
We loved having Trent here, no doubt. His presence is very much missed.
We were thrilled that Jamie was able to come, too.
Next Easter, they are yours. We'll do our day either before or after.
Besides, the Florida Easter Bunny is far better than the Tennessee Easter Bunny!!! :goodvibes

:Pinkbounc HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY BELLA!!! :Pinkbounc

Everything looks great!
Once again you outdid your creativity ladies!

I loved all the decorations, especially the photo op! How did you ever find a poster that big? The log was a cute touch.

Bella's tutu was so adorable! It was extra special to see her walk through the limbo all by herself!

You did a wonderful job on the cakes, I can't believe Bella didn't smash into it...:rotfl:

I'm so glad Bubby and Jamie could make it! It must have been so nice having them there. :grouphug:

It looked like a fun time for all the little ones!

I'm sure they will get good use of the picnic table this summer.
After they play on the water slide they can have a snack. :thumbsup2

HAPPY EASTER! :flower3:

*** I hope Drew is feeling better...ouch....that must have hurt....

That big poster came in two sections, and it was just with the Pooh party stuff. We just did some roll paper trees in back of it so you could see it better. It was perfect for what we needed.

We were happy to have the whole family together.

My kids always had little tables, and I know the girls and a few future grandchildren will make lots of messes on this one. Like I said, Bella thinks it is a mountain, though.

Drew was moving better yesterday. He's a daredevil. There's no telling what an x-ray of his body would reveal. He has cracked so many things, but he just loves riding.

CONGRATULATIONS VANDYFAN ON YOUR NEW BABY BOY!!

I wish you many years of new experiences....only a boy can bring to your life....;)

Like stitches, broken bones, knocked out teeth... :rolleyes1

The party looked great! Jill must have had a fun time planning :) I loved the way her cakes & cupcakes came out. Baking is one of my favorite hobbies, I should really get into decorating more.

Jill would very much enjoy a cake decorating class. I hope she will get to do that someday.

such a cute and fun party! i love the photo op area you had set up. and bella's little birthday tutu was adorable!

jill - you should have a package coming probably tomorrow or it may have came yesterday. let me know that it arrives safely if you don't mind.

:flower3: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BELLA!!!!!! :flower3:

I will let you know when it comes. :thumbsup2
Margot's party turn is coming soon. :lovestruc

looks like a great birthday party! Caleb loved his tissue paper too at his 1st birthday party...didn;t care much for the other presents. Caleb has the vtech laptop too...he is just now liking playing with it...course I got it because he kept on wanting to play with my laptop...didn;t work though...he still wanted to play with the real one! LOL!

Bella loves crinkly paper.
Sort of like my cat.

Great party, but we would have expected nothing less! I just loved the photo op with the log for picture taking!
Stephanie must have a liking for Pooh? She sure has quite the collection of plushies!
Bella looked like such a birthday princess in her outfit and Brooklynn was keeping a watchful eye on her during the cake business and present opening. That girl knows how to take care of her little sissy!

Was just texting with Trent. He assured me they were on a gasoline break (not texting while driving) and they were getting closer to home...
He said he was sure happy to have company in the car and I'm sure the fact that it was Jamie made it all the better!:cutie:

Trent says she has a bunch of Poohs. We loved the sackful she sent us the first time. She sent more this time! There are so many cute ones.

Brooklynn adores her sister. :cutie:

He better have been stopped. I had talked to him just a little earlier and told him not to get below a quarter of a tank.
said I was such a mother.
I replied, "Always!" ;)

party::bday:party: BELLA!!

Looks like fun was had by all. Such great ideas for the party and loved all the decorations!!!

We did have fun, and we were grateful for a beautiful day so that we could be outside a little.

Can't wait to see the shirts!:goodvibes

They were such thoughtful gifts. Cathy is so talented, and she is teaching her oldest daughter to sew now, too.

What an awesome party!
Both the cakes and cookies looked amazing!
Bella is too cute in her birthday tutu :cutie:

The tutu didn't last long, so we were glad to get a few pictures. She slipped out of it a few times.

First:

Happy First Birthday to Bella!!! I can't believe it has been a year already!

Second:

Great cakes and decorations! That was super sweet of Stephanie to send all the Hundred Acre Wood gang to the party! Since Bella didn't want anything to do with smashing the cake, does that mean there are leftovers? ;)

Third:

I am in love with Bella's birthday skirt! That is just the cutest thing EVER!

Fourth:

MeMom, only you would be lucky enough to find a Mickey cactus!!!

Yes, the honey pot cake is going to her class today. Jill was kind of glad that she didn't have to go home and start making something new for school today, so it worked very well that Bella was so considerate of her Mommy's time. :)

The skirt was from a friend at school, I think.

I saw that cactus and looked no further. They had some others sort of like it, but the ears were longer, more like the bunny ears on the taller one.

I liked the rounder ears, for some reason. :upsidedow

What a great party and how wonderful for you that were able to see Trent again so soon! I know that makes you happy!!! Jill did such an amazing job on those cakes!

That's the longest I've ever gone without seeing him. Basketball camps for a week had been the longest. Now it will be five more before we go down for Mother's Day, but Jarvis said he may drive down there. That will make me feel better, that Trent is seeing someone from home. It must be hard on him not having any familiar faces from back home in his everyday life. Of course, he has Jamie, but you know what I mean - even when he's out in the community running errands and such, he's not running into people he knows, no church friends, gym friends, etc. This would be a HUGE change for anyone.

Aw..little Bella looks adorable in that skirt! :cutie:

Love the decorations! And such a great cake Jill!

Like I always say, parties/get-togethers always look fun with you guys!

We had a great time, and Jill did an excellent job, as always, making something wonderful for her girls.

My how life has changed!!!!!!

Loved all the birthday pictures! Jill did a fantastic job on the cakes. I especially love the hunny pot! Loved all the decorations too and the photo op spot proves how much WDW has influenced you guys! :lmao:

The Mickey cactus is HILARIOUS!!! :rotfl2: It even looks like the one in the back is Minnie with that pink bloom (bow) between the "ears"! I LOVE IT!!!!

Margot's party turn is coming soon. :lovestruc

yep, in about 2 weeks! i'm looking forward to it. although i doubt her party will be as cute as bella's. for one, my stepmom is doing it all because margot's mom....well, we won't go there. my grandma said if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. :rolleyes1 and we're having it at pizza hut. i doubt there will be any games played just because we don't have a lot of small children in our family. margot is the first grandchild. and my stepmom's nieces and nephews are all older, like between ages 8 and 20. i think it will probably be more like a family/friend get-together with pizza and cake (which hopefully margot will make a mess of) and present-opening. anyway, it will be nice to celebrate with them but i wish we had more small kids so we could do more of a themed party.

loved the year-in-review pics of bella....she's changed so much! such a cutie. princess:

Firstly, I think Brooklynn would love playing with Doug and Liam. Doug is my stuffed animal lover and every one has a name and a special place. Liam, on the other hand, is a "liner upper" of toys. Between the stuffies and the lines (and Disney) I am sure the three would have oodles of fun!

The party looks like a blast! I love all of the special Pooh touches and those cakes came out great Jill! As soon as I saw that photo op I immediately thought of DTD, such a clever idea! The entire party looked like a wonderful celebration of and excitement for such a beautiful little girl!

I love her signing pic! I just remembered this weekend to start signing to Aileen.

I almost forgot -- Happy birthday Bella and Happy Mommy day Jill!

Everything about the party looks great. It seems as if a fun time was had by all. I especially love the photo op with Pooh and friends. :goodvibes

What was I doing exactly one year ago at this moment?!

:goodvibes Oh, Jill, I was saying the same thing this past Saturday, to Rachel. It was my sweet baby girl's 14th birthday! :goodvibes

The years fly by. I can remember her first birthday party. She had a bumblebee outfit to wear, in fact! Of course, Elizabeth had the matching "big sister" outfit! :)

Checking in quickly to say that we can add another new DIS baby to our group Stasieki had Ellie Rose yesterday afternoon. She came in just shy of 6 pounds. Hopefully, we will get pictures (as soon as she is able) of this precious little girl.

Congratulations to the family! :dance3:
