Ringing in 2010, 6 months til we'll be back again

I'd love to try to make Mickey krispy treats. I might be able to rope Charles into doing that, too. :scratchin

I hope your last day with the kids before break goes well. It's so strange to me that elementary, middle and high schools have spring break in March. The schools here get President's week in February and a week in April. I'm on spring break next week, too! :yay:

That's what he wants more than anything. Whether it is realistic, I don't know. Photography may have to be a side job. He's shooting a dog show this Saturday. He just loves to take pictures of anything.

Well, maybe he can-----From some of the prices I've paid to photographers, I think you can make a pretty good living shooting pictures!

Bella had every right to be fussy last night since she is currently running a fever of 102.1. We will be heading to the doctor later this afternoon to find out what is going on. Whatever it is needs to huury up and run its course. She cannot take ANY medication (over the counter or prescription) after March 30th because of her surgery.

I know - I hate it when my babies don't feel good. Maybe she'll get some meds today that will have her smiling again by evening.

I enjoyed looking at your evening pictures from Epcot; so pretty!

Isn't Skype the coolest thing? All three times my stepson was deployed to Iraq, we could email and talk with him. My grandfather, who fought in WWII, is continually amazed at how things are so different today than when he was overseas! It's still incredibly hard to have your loved ones so far away, but so nice to see and talk with them!

Skype is cool. All of us will be using it to stay close between visits. :)
When I have the money, the two hour trips to Orlando won't be that big of a deal, but when I don't, the ten hour trips will be! :upsidedow

Awww, bless her heart!!!! I hope she feels better soon Jill!

Jill said she's been tugging at one of her ears, but it could just be teething, too. Since she threw up the other day, though, she's probably just got several things aggravating her right now.

Praying that precious little Bella gets better soon. :grouphug:

Thanks so much. :)

Yummy ! Goofy's I think we went there every night on our last trip just about and made treats we even took some home with us !

Beautiful nighttime pictures of Epcot and the Candlelight Processional ! My fav's are the Luminations pic's !

The pic of Bella and Trent is so sweet :)

Enjoy your Spring Break MeMom :goodvibes The kiddies don't have there's here till over Easter April 3 to April 12 , quite a long time at least this Mom thinks so

Hope Bella feels better soon :grouphug:

I want an apple covered in chocolate and nuts of any kind, but I have a hard time paying NINE dollars for one, and I believe that's how much they are.

We'll be having a birthday party Easter weekend. The littlest 'rat' will be one! :cutie:

We don't get time on President's Day/week, so we are ready for our March break. This year, it hasn't seemed so horrible, because we had snow days. I wouldn't be opposed to the nine weeks/three weeks schedule, because you still get six weeks or more in the summer. I'm ready for a break every six weeks.

He visited the home of a photographer once with a friend, and he said his house was awesome - had a theater room and everything. It will be nice if he can make a living, and if he can make a really nice living, that will be even better! ;)

The difference in my daughter and my sons:

Jill would have everything listed and packed a week in advance for a move. Everything would be color coordinated and possibly arranged alphabetically.

Trent just called and said he needs black polo shirts and he can't find his shoes. The boxes and plastic tubs I gave him for moving are still empty. He will slosh things together here in the last 72 hours and give me a heart attack in the process.

Drew would wait until Saturday night at about eight to say something about polo shirts, and he wouldn't know the color. He would have his bike parts, tools, and camera equipment immaculately stored and ready to go, and he would have a duffel bag stuffed with mismatched articles of clothing.

I love all of my children. They are each unique and special. :)

Verry, verry :upsidedow special.

 It's so funny to hear the differences in Jill, Trent, and Drew!

It is good that they are all different...makes life more interesting! :goodvibes

I hope Bella is feeling better already, is it an ear infection?

I'm starting a shopping list if anyone is in need of a Disney fix while I'm down there!

Trent sounds like Kailyn! :rotfl: She was stressing me out so much right before our trip. I made lists a month in advance, started organizing a week or more in advance, and started packing about two days in advance. Even after our flight was canceled and we were pushed back a couple of days, she didn't start packing until the afternoon or the evening before. I offered to make her a list because she tends to forget the important things (last year she forgot socks and had to borrow mine), and she said she made a list but lost it. I offered to make her another one and she said no, she always loses her lists. I offered to help her pack, she said no. I'm sure she felt I was being overbearing but excuse me if I don't want to end up lending you my socks and other articles of clothing all week. :rotfl2: I did end up lending her one of my hoodies all week because she didn't pack enough warm clothes.

Next trip this happens, I'm just going to take a deep breath and remind myself of this conversation. Unique and special. :upsidedow

Boy oh boy, he is sooooo much like someone else I know :rolleyes1

Her fever was at 103 around 5:00. She apparently felt that starting to walk while running said fever was enough of a challenge! She has been walking back and forth between John and I. I'm hoping she shows her uncle Bubby her skills this weekend! The doctor said it was just a viral infection and it owuld run its course.

I bet you do see plenty of everything. I know people are different, but I am amazed at how much skin and/or flab some people are willing to expose to the general public at waterparks and pools.

I agree about the fashion "don'ts" I see. People don't realize what putting a white top in water does to it!:scared1:

This is the last day of school for students before Spring Break. Teachers have an in-service tomorrow. The kids will be wild today. Some will not be there, as they will begin travels today. Many tutoring kids will not come this afternoon, so the groups should be small, which will be nice.

Jill and I Skyped last night. Brooklynn had the biggest smile on her face and took about two dozen pictures of my face on her laptop. She wanted to see the cat. I turned on the Disney Channel and showed her my TV was showing the same thing as hers. She thought that was neat. It was fun to see her dancing around the room, and I got to see smiling, but then fussy Bella right before she was put to bed.

Have a great day, everyone!

Enjoy your break.

It sounds like Bella will be OK soon. Maybe she figures she need to move around to cool off  Congrats on her walking!!! Now the chasing begins. Maybe she figures if Margot can do it so can she :confused3

They have made my life very interesting - fun, crazy, and chaotic sometimes. They have made me poor a hundred times over with all of their needs and wants and my wants for them. They have given me headaches and heart attacks. They have made messes and broken things. They have rolled their eyes at me and thought I was the stupidest human alive at times. BUT they have filled my life with joy and love and happiness beyond anything I could measure or anything I have deserved.

He says it is just a virus, so I guess it'll run it's course. Whatever it was, it caused her to walk finally. Jill called and said she has finally taken a few steps. Yay, Bella!

I can't blame you. Sounds like you need to be in charge of her packing, for your own sake.

Unique and special. Unique and special.

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Enjoy your day off from kids tomorrow!

I will. I have lots of paperwork to do in order to not think about school next week.

Boy oh boy, he is sooooo much like someone else I know :rolleyes1

That might not be good. ;)

Ohhh loved those night time WS pictures! That Norway one looks like it really could have been taken in the actual country of Norway :thumbsup2

So cool that you have been Skyping with Jill and the girls! So high tech, I don't know how to use it :rotfl:
