Hi, just been on the DVCmember site to double check the points I need for my planned stay, and I saw the online reservation form.

I have filled it in and was about the submit it, but wondered whether this is a good idea??

Am I better ringing right at opening on Sunday to see if I can get my choice for 30th Dec/NYE or will the on-line reservations get dealt with first??

Plus if I ring, can I tell them to cancel the on-line request or will I end up with two bookings??

We are out on sunday and it was going to be a rush fo us to get back to ring right on 2pm (the time to ring from the UK)- so is the online system a good alternative?

thanks for any info :thumbsup2

For that time of year, I would definitely call. It can take a couple of days for them to get back to you with an online request. I don't know if they would accept an online request for the 30th sent today, if that's your 7 month non-home resort mark. You may have to wait until Sunday to send an online request.

The online form works well for off-peak booking periods. For your desired timeframe, I'd definitely use the phone.

Good luck getting what you want! :goodvibes

thanks Crystal:thumbsup2

I rang Member Services as soon as they opened and was able to get an Ocean View Room at Vero Beach for both nights. :santa: I did try my luck and asked for a Boardwalk view studio - but I never really thought it was going to happen, and funnily enough it didn't!!!:goodvibes

So now I need to get looking for trip reports from VB on NYE, to hear all about their pool parties!!
