Ring drama

I just came back from the jewelry store. What a mess. I have lost so much weight that my wedding band is way too big. I went to have it resized. Well it would have had to be resized 2 sizes and it would have ruined my ring. So I had to pick out another one. Gosh I feel so bad. Because my DF lives in Ky and I live in Tx. Thank God I called him and he just said to get what i like.

I'm so stressed I just want to cry!

Because of the design of the ring it would have been messed up. I actually love my new ring more. They gave it be me alot less then it was suppose to be. I think the tears had alot to do with it.

See things work out in the end...I am so happy for you. Don't let things like this bother you...it is disappointing but it worked out better!!!

They weren't able to reorder your ring in a smaller size? I guess it really depends on where you get your ring, but I ran into a similar problem and that's what they did for us. Then again, we got our rings at Helzbergs and they can easily switch out sizes for what they have in stock in the stores.

I started out with a size 5 1/2 (which is what I've normally wore), which is tiny enough, but it turned out to be too big! I ended up with a size 4, and they had to swap out my original wedding band for a special ordered size 4. Luckily my engagement ring was special ordered to begin with and they could size it down without ruining the ring quality.

Thank you! No they couldnt order another one. It was fazed out. Of course. I love my new ring. But with other stresses it just put me over the edge. I knew you ladies would make me feel better.

Yeah I was shocked. I was worried my dress wouldnt fit at first now, I need to becareful that it doesnt get too big. Wedding planning stress does make you lose weight.

Don't stress out too much! You've got 5 months left, and believe me, that's plenty of time! I only had three months to start planning my DFTW, but then again I'm having an intimate.

i have lost about 32lbs. Just stopped eating sweets, eating more fruits, lots of water. walking every evening 2 miles. eating 3 meals a day.

Congrats on the weight loss. Thats awesome. I just started back on my diet, after gaining about 30 pounds over the past year. All I know is that there's no way my gown would fit. You would think that your wedding would be a HUGE incentive for losing weight, but I think it has the complete opposite effect on me. Ahhhh! I can't seem to do it on my own, but you Disers are the best support team! Thanks!
