Of course, I am just a few days away from my very well planned out WDW vacation!

The entire purpose of this very well planned out vacation is to see my nieces dance in a show and a parade at Disney. These lovely girls are the children of my very go with the flow, whatever, whenever attitude sister.

So...Ive been asking and asking and asking for details about these "dances". Ive been given very vague information up until today. Once again, I asked if she had any specific details. NOW Im being told, the girls are not actually in the 3pm parade (which I got a viewing package for by eating at Tony's in between my CP breakfast and Yatchsman Steakhouse dinner..like I needed that meal! But..anything for my nieces) They are in what is called "Dance the Magic"

The only info I have is it is possibly at 2:30, definitely before the 3pm parade and definitely in the Magic Kingdom....somewhere. I guess Ill wait for a text that day ? !!!! Not this planner!

Does anyone know anything about this dance/show/event? Where does it take place? (April 2nd)

Also, having the parade viewing package, I am suppose to arrive at some magical flagpole 20 minutes before the parade. Does anyone know where I would find the flagpole. Its probably clear as day, but in my state of mind lately, Id walk into it before seeing it.

Thank you in advance for any responses :)

I'm guessin that it is right in the square when you first go under the train station, before Main ST.

BTW, I'm not familiar with those dance thingees, but I'd probably cancel the dinner thing to be safe....

Oh wow! Never noticed it!!! Thank you very very very much!

Is it where this used to be ?

Dance the Magic isn't an event, it is a company. Dance the Magic facilitates trips and performances for dance studios. I looked into it to try and convince the director of my daughter's studio to consider submitting the g.irls for the Christmas Parade. (Always looking for good excuse for Disney trip). Here's a link to some info for the April 1-2 performances. http://www.dancethemagic.com/Event32-Performer_Package.php?id=30

It looks like they'll march in front of the parade on April2. My daughter did this with her marching band a couple of years ago. They step off at 2:30 in Frontierland and follow the regular parade route.

You are the best! Yes, I saw that site, but it didnt give any information other than how to sign up and what is included....at least what I saw. I was looking more for the information of what you just gave! That is awesome! Ill surely be at the parade route early! My fear was Id be by the flagpole at 2pm and they would be dancing in fantasyland at 10am!! Or Id still be at my resort when I got "the text" saying "they're starting now" !!! Oh, thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

This part literally made me LOL!

I do feel your pain though. DH and I are going to WDW the week before Easter for DD's high school softball spring training. I had no idea when the games were when I made ADRs and FP selections. Now I've been told games are Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning...no times. I'm scrambling around trying to move FPs and change ADRs. Luckily, I had made contingency ADRs just in case, so most of them will still work.
