Guess time will tell if this is a hit or a miss.

Just seen the thunderstorm warning on Weather.com, take care out there its not looking nice :( Great pics BTW :)

Claire ;)

The weather said the bad storm is near the airport. We have had dark skies, thunder and lightening coming from the west or almost an hour with no rain. The sky is still black, but more quieter and calmer.

(BTW - see what you have done... you have me standing outside in storms now too... :lmao: actually - I love watching storms and often take pics!)

Maybe I should post a warning with my pics. Something like................... The Surgeon General and Virgo10 want to advise you that not doing photography during thunderstorms reduces serious risks to your health.

:lmao:

We had a pretty hefty thunderstorm with high winds and peanut-size hail here.

That was what I saw on the weather thing at the bottom of the screen - (can't think what it is called...dah!) Here in the "NE" we still just have black skies. It would have been nice to get some rain out of it!

I hope the hail did not do any damage!

We had thunder and dark clouds here. Even a storm watch and nothing, nada, not squat. We really need the rain. My poor yard is slowly dying.

Nothing here in south Lakeland except a few clouds and a nice breeze.

I love the weather before a storm, too!

Don't worry! That's what the skies look like when there is too many flights headed into Orlando!! :rotfl2:

We were over at Home Depot at Millenia and it was lightning, got a little windy for 5-10 minutes, but it never really rained. :confused3

Was the hail actually shaped like peanuts? lol that would be something.

Same thing happened in my area...just dry and hot!

We were at St Augustine Beach today and heard thunder for literally hours before we saw a single dark cloud (it must have been rolling up from Central Florida!).

Finally saw some dark clouds at around 4 PM and headed home into a refreshing little thunderstorm.

Our storm broke apart before it reached us. :(

Great pictures as usual!

Wow - they just showed teaser pics for the news tonight of small planes flipped over at an airport in Ocala. Must have been a dozey!

This was the way the evening ended. Like so many others, we didn't get any rain and, of course, I didn't water thinking we would. :furious:

It's still hard to get use to thunderstorms that don't really move like the ones in Massachusetts did. These storms just continue to bubble up where they started or one will pop up totally unexpected.

Just another day of weird weather in central Florida. :teeth:

SW of Jax we got it pretty bad, some small trees uprooted, debris in the street, lots of thunder, etc for a few hours. What's strange is the other side of town got zero...few drips maybe.

Crazy Florida weather!!! WE NEED THE RAIN! (but not next weekend, ok? I'm going camping!)

Me too - I was sure there was rain coming out of all that "angriness" in the sky! (That's what DD say - the sky looks ANGRY!)
