Riding with the Captain on the Liberty Belle.

We were at Disneyland way back in 2008 and our developmentally disabled son was able to ride with the Captain on the Mark Twain. Found the tip here that all you had to do was ask a cast member when you boarded. We're going to WDW in November and all he talks about is getting to ride with the Captain on the Liberty Belle. Does anyone know if you can do this post Covid? Thanks in advance.
