Riding up front in the Monorail...

My DD did get to ride up front on the resort monorail. When my DS wanted to ride after our breakfast at Ohana, we waited for several with no luck all full. We took this monorail to TTC. That was better. The first monorail there had a family of four waiting. They got on, because all have to leave from epcot to TTC. They got on and we just waited for the next one, maybe 5 min. Plus, it is longer ride with no stops. Going to Epcot is fun to ride all thru Epcot before the ride is over.

My friend and I (both 20+) rode twice during the second week in August and there were no cards. I thought it was just because we were adults

DD8 and DD6 wanted to ride up front several times during our last trip in Dec 2005 and were not allowed everytime!! :confused3 We are going back in 12 days and we are definitely going to try harder!

A few years ago after riding up front on the Monorail, we did not realize you get these co-pilot cards & we also did not know that it's up to the driver to give them out if he or she chooses to. Anway when we found this out we thought you were supost to get them everytime, so my Dad called a guest service number for WDW & told them if they could send me a card in the mail? They must have asked for my name, because instead of the card, I got a certificate with my name on it & it says Monorail co-pilot. So I was surprised that they sent me this.
